As a professional software tester i tested DBD VERY INTENSIVELY the last 6 months. (My player level is 234 in seven months)

Next to that i play games since the dust of video games. (pong, atari 2600, cbs colecovision, commodore 64/ 128/ amiga,Philips (videopac, msx), Sega megadrive, PC (Since XT), nintendo (since the 8-bit), PS (since PSII), etc.

Next to that i have (software) degrees on several platforms (Windows, Linux, Unix and Novell)

I know my way in programming (C (+,++,#), java, python, basic, vba, delphi, etc)

I know my way in databases (IDM DB2, Oracle, (My)SQL, Postgress)

My professional career in IT is over 25 years, In hobby over 40 years

Anyway, These are my findings about DBD

  • Never ever i have seen a piece of software in which one party favours so much over another
  • Why wiggle at ALL when ANY hook can be reached within 8 seconds and wiggling takes AT LEAST TWICE the amount of time
  • Why use a flashlight on a PS4 when it takes FOREVER to aim it at a killer (TIP: use L3 to move the cursor faster !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) (And don't insult me with "platform", it's VERY EASY to program a button on a piece of software that isn't used)
  • It is said, the higher the level, the higher the level of the gear in the bloodweb. It honestly doesn't mattter whether you're L47 or L300+ (Haven't had "Bloody Party Streamer" in ages)
  • The new killer (Less than level 5) can kill ANY survivor (L 200+) within a ridiculous short amount of time; a survivor that took MONTHS (and THOUSANDS OF HOURS) to compilate
  • I have had COUNTLESS of disconnects from killers while a FULL PARTY was ready to play
  • I have had COUNTLESS of disconnects when a party was loading, resulting in the loss of precious offerings
  • I have had COUNTLESS of disconnects in midgame or endgame, resulting in loss of bloodpoints because a killer decided to quit

The killer decides. Whether farming (with certain players) or disconnecting.

The potential in DBD is IMO tremendous, however NOT this way.
