    always wanted to make legion masks just to paint different designs on them. What did you use for the base of mask.

    I used wire, masking tape, wood glue and clay to make the mask. I build the general frame with wire using masking tape to hold it together, then cover that frame with more masking tape, paint a few layers of wood glue for a sturdier base, then put on thin layers of clay with wood glue in between (as clay doesn't stick the best to itself if one is dried and the other isn't) till nice and smooth. Surprisingly if done right the mask aren't as heavy as you'd think. If you attempt to make a mask feel free to contact me for help.
