To the killers who decide to play online multiplayer with bad internet
I am posting this because of an issue I had which I have also posted about. Please make sure your internet is reasonably good and not atrocious, it is so annoying when it happens this has only happened once to me but it was enough to annoy me.

Do you not understand what ping is? It has nothing to do with Internet quality, it's a physical limitation in the speed at which information is transferred arising from the laws of physics.

This goes both ways my friend. Seen plenty of survivors whose connections were subpar with mine, but like Orion said, ping more or less has little to do with internet quality and more about distance.

To the people bitching about my internet: When everyone else in my lobby is sitting at a solid 87-100 and you bounce between 100-800 it isn't my fault. Fix your own god damned net.

You are aware that the killer is the host?
You connect to them.
Your connection is faulty.
Yes there may be players with general connection issue and package loss but you are playing on the killers machine.

@MhhBurgers you most certainly can't. For example, you can't alter game files. You don't actually OWN the software, you have a limited licence to use it. I hope you were just joking, but if you actually do have bad internet connection and often DC because of it, then you're yet another reason why the ratio of DC-s that leads to a ban should be lowered.

No but I'm pro consumer and anti-corporation. sadly most of this new generation seem to love to defend corporations nowadays.

When i get one survivors blinking like the nurse yet the other stay green it mean ur internet need to be looked at

Sometimes the game itself can just run really slow and rough for killer and survivor. It sometimes isn't bad player connection being dumb, the game itself can have unstable moments.

As annoying as it is (Thank God we are getting dedicated servers), they’ve bought the game like you. Even if they live in the kitchen of a McDonalds with their wi fi, they have every right to play.

If I host a lobby, and 1/4 survivors has bad connection, it is their job to leave, I will not drop the lobby for 1 survivor. 2/4 is a maybe, 3/4 and 4/4 is a yes.
I just want to and want others to have a good time. But I am not responsible if you choose to have a crappy experience or not.
