Should the rank system just be a hidden MMR system?

People really seem entitled to pipping. A hidden system would remove this nonsense.

I just don't want potato survivors on my team. Beyond that I couldn't really care. I'm not expecting pros, just people who are decent and have enough game knowledge to make good decisions.
Running straight for a basement unhook while Bubba is still in the area is the kind of dumb ######### I often see. They don't even have BT.
