Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.

In-Game Chat System

Is there a reason why there is no in-game voice or text chat? People complain so much about SWF being stronger than Solos, so why hasn't a system like this been implemented yet? All the other competitive games I know have in-game voice chat, and for PC they have in-game text chat as well. You could even create a hearing distance system, so that you can't hear other players voices if you are a certain distance away. Please consider this.

Game was never meant to have even swf. Its all about choosing between doing something or trusting that soneone wille.

In game communication will cause games to end in 5 minutes.

Even if SWF was never intended to be implemented into the game, it doesn't change the fact that it exists now. All people do is b*tch and moan about the imbalance between SWF and Solos and how SWF is so much stronger than Solos. This is the simplest way to bridge the gap. Either that, or remove SWF (which would be a horrible idea, btw).

In a stream they said they had to either implement SWF or kill your friends and they chose kill your friends.

People are afraid they're going to hear high pitched, annoying kiddos screaming in their ears and they just haven't worked out anything otherwise. At this point, I'd honestly be okay with giving in game comms a chance. At the very least, text alerts would be nice. We could buff solo to the level of swf and give killers tools to deal with both rather than being worried of inadvertently having a massive negative affect to solo while dealing with swf.

Obviously, there should be a mute button accompanied with the system.
