Best perks for Plague

I want to see what people think are the best perks for Plague and why. Please do not say BBQ, Ruin, or Enduring because those are great for pretty much every killer. I want stuff that's not "basic #########" killer.

IMO the absolute best perk for her is Brutal Strength for 2 reasons.

First, since you are using sickness to inflict Broken you're in situations a lot where survivors avoid dropping the pallet and instead try to loop you until they get to Broken. Once they do, you usually need to break the pallet to get them, as they tend to drop it early, and BS let's you reacquire faster. People say she's a Spirit Fury/Enduring killer and I disagree, since you're not really going to be swinging through pallets that often for it to be useful, and when you do chances are you will only need 1 hit anyway making it a bit of a moot tactic. BS is better here because it nullifies the one counter to her power, dropping the pallet early, and gives you an advantage in that situation.

The second reason is gens. Because she pukes on them, it basically means you are kicking a gen twice. BS saves you time here, letting you damage the gen and puke on it quickly. Without it I always feel like I'm stuck doing one or the other else I waste time.

Now along with that I would say PGTW and Overcharge would also be good for her since they combo well with BS. But I don't think they are necessary, they just compliment BS well.

BS definitely helps the Plague because it always seems they get to a pallet and drop it nearly as they break. Possibly use Bamboozle too.

I've also found Monitor to be really good for when you get the corrupted purge because you can get closer before they scurry off.

@blue4zion Yea I heard M&A was good for her during PTB, but I don't have it yet. I'm sitting at level 50 with 950k BP. I'm planning to play 1 more game as her with a pink mori and my best add-ons then I'm prestiging her.

I also found Infectious Fright is a great perk on her (and a great perk in general). It lets you apply really good pressure since when you down someone, you can usually leave them slugged and go after a new target which puts on crazy pressure. Since the guy on the floor is usually 100% sick that means even if they get up, now 2 of them have to go use a fountain while you are finishing up hooking another guy. It's also a good anti-flashlight perk, and can be as effective as BBQ in keeping tabs on survivors. It also scares them into scrambling, so if you down someone near a gen they usually flee allowing you to kick and puke on the gen. M&A would combo really nice with this, as you get a larger TR from the chase it means greater chance someone will scream.

And I don't have it yet either, but I think Blood Warden would be great for her. If you have Corrupt Purge and chase more than 1 to the gates, you can down them all super quick, a bit like LF.

I think BS is a garbage perk on most killers including plague. It's doing very little for you.

There are ultimately better perks, but it does slightly speed it up and every second counts.

You'd probably get more seconds back even running Franklins Demise just with the time they waste going back for items.

Normally I agree, but for Plague considering how a chase normally plays out due to her power it is very useful. Survivors tend to drop the pallet early right before they become Broken, so this let's you reacquire the chase much faster. It also helps with gens since she has to both kick and puke on gens. It's a specific thing to Plague, not really applicable to other killers. Like if you put BS on Clown it's very much the same sort of thing, because survivors drop pallets early. And since he can slow them down too, it gives him those few precious seconds to end a chase before they get to the next loop.

    M&A is a must.

Play With Your Food is quite decent on her, because Vile Purge does not deplete the tokens.

Tinkerer is nice too, you can jump on survivors and puke on 1 or even 3 of them.

    Dark Devotion is quite okayish.

That's all I find somehow viable on her, of course despite BBQ, Ruin and BS/Spirit Fury combo.

@RSB Interesting fact about PWYF. I will have to try this.

Tinkerer is pretty nice on her. But I feel like it's situational because she is so tall. If it procs in a chase when the guy is puking you can surprise them though.

I've been trying out BBQ, infectious fright, distressing and ruin. Fright and distressing work pretty well together and actually get some decent devious points with her that way. Going to try that combo with doctor when I get it for him.

@LegendofXander Yea I had a slug/heartbeat build using Distressing, M&A, and Inf Fright. If my math is correct, you will have a 30m TR when not in a chase and a 50m TR when in a chase. So you get the best of both worlds. A slightly smaller TR that gives you more ability to sneak up on survivors, and a giant TR when you finish a chase to proc Inf Fright across the map. I'm thinking the last perk would be Knockout, but someone mentioned elsewhere on the forum that Inf Fright doesn't proc on downed survivors so you might need Deerstalker instead.

I've taken great enjoyment in Remember Me. Each the obsession breaks, whether by the killer's hands or by survivor, you gain a stack of Remember Me.

By the same standing, each time a survivor that's NOT the obsession breaks you likewise gain a stack of STBFL.

@Khroalthemadbomber Good find! Very cool that we can get stacks of RM/STBFL through Broken with purge. I will have to try one of these now.
