Constantly Blackpipping as Survivor
Around 50% ish of the game I play I have led on near game long chases, and do unhooks here and there and gens and so on
theres just too much requirements to pip as a survivor, I’m not playing the game to pip, I’m doing it to have fun, and I get put into seemingly lower and lower ranks and going on longer and longer chases, and get poopier and poopier teammates
hope this poopy poop stuff gets fixed

your not alone my friend. Killers and survivors are depiping like crazy. Rank 10 will be the new rank 1 with how broken the current system is. They went too far with the rank system and I'm afraid it will just kill the game.

Don't worry, rank has never been more meaningless than it is now. You can be rank 15 and still play red rank killers, or vice versa. Your rank means little in matching, so don't worry about losing pips.

Just take out rank at this point honestly the rank system isn't that great anyways taking out the rank system would be my wish come true simply because of the fact that I could play for fun and not get triggered when I depip because I got facecamped or tunneled.

Rank 4, 4 kills every game, black pip 80% of the time, 1 pip when i let survivors finish at least 1 gen and nobody DC or suicide on hook.
Btw if i ever use a mori, i KNOW i wont pip on that match.

You must not be doing much. I pip pretty much 80% of my games (rank 1-3) I get 4ks and 3ks I even pip. Just because you get 4k doesn't mean you did much, I mean, you could just be camping, or whoring the hooked survivor. Which gives you negative scoring. It's about the chase, it's about the amount of hooks per survivor. You depipping, while getting 4ks, as you said, is because of your play style. It's sounds minimal to me.

@VoodooTheKiller You also don't pip when you 4k 4 gens a team. Very good killers won't pip against mediocre survs just because they kill them too fast. The killers would have to play intentionally bad and prolong the match just to farm emblem points. And that is surely not how it should be.
(And you are also not going to pip as a killer if the survs dc.)

You need to git gud at bringing fun for survivors, stop tunneling/camping !

How am i tunneling and camping if every time i check my Chaser emblem i see 0% (invisible) "Hook Proximity"???

1. Rank is meaningless, why do you care?
2. Maybe you are not as good as you think you are (no offense tho) cuz I have no issues with pipping (not that I care in the first place, but I ranked up to red ranks without noticing it)

Emblems are utter ######### and needs to be reworked. The pip requirements are fine.

It's a system that at higher ranks will make sense. You have to do more work to be higher tier. Why would beating the hell out of bad players reward you by increasing your rank? Nothing was proven.

Yea it's really stupid for survivors. There aren't enough points to go around and you are competing with 3 other players for Lightbringer and Benevolence. And you can't get enough LB and Evader in the same game to pip at red ranks. You can generally only get one or the other, and it's beyond your control what the killer decides to do.
For killer I'm finding the system to mostly work. I'm 1 pip away from rank 2, and I pip most games. Some games I double pip. Mainly because I don't camp or tunnel. However, some games I get a safety pip even though I bodied survivors, and it usually comes down to DC's, suicides on hooks, or just survivors doing dumb things that I capitalize on. Had a game where I was on track to lose, but then survivors made a few critical mistakes in a row and I got 3 slugs at once with the 4th guy already on a hook. It was game over at this point, but I black pipped because I didn't get enough Chaser/Malicious. Also I feel like Gatekeeper is too inconsistent to be a reliable measure of skill. It should be based on the length of the game while factoring in the number of survivors left in the trial. It should not use number of gens done/not done as a unit of measure because you can't protect 7 gens from being done. You can protect 4, or do things to stall/slow the game but you can't micromanage survivor objectives.
