Poised is way too good
I've lost killers (and had people lose me) solely because of this perk. And any lost chase can doom a killer. Something that game-changing is something that needs to be addressed.
Only way I can really say that something can be done is if the time it's active for is significantly reduced. Or if it only worked after 2 gens pop. Or some other kind of limitation. Right now, it's too good.

I’m really loving solidarity with we’ll make it, it’s really nice if don’t use self care.
0 -
I agree that Solidarity was a good addition, I'm not against survivors having good perks by any means. It's just that while Solidarity is a good but not broken perk, Poised is actually broken to all hell.

It's alright right now. I'd rather have a good stealth perk than some useless perk or broken perk. Besides, if you do have eyes on the survivor it shouldn't be hard to lose them. If you do that's on you
11 -
Sometimes you're trapped breaking a pallet or in a stun when it proc's. Then you just lose them (unless they're injured without Iron Will)
0 -
Poised is fine the way it is.
10 -
I think we both know that's not a solution. That perk slot is much needed to cover for bad gameplay mechanics
0 -
Ah yes, that sucks most of the time but if they don't have iron will then you can still track them pretty easily if they're injured. If they do though try to mind game the pallets to have at least some los on them and break it when you see their marks come back. There's a few counters to it, it's a pretty balanced perk imo
0 -
If it were that broken more people would run it. I never saw anyone running it besides doing achievement.
4 -
The perk is fine the way it is...
5 -
It's fine. Leave it alone.
6 -
No one runs it cuz they're too busy dryhumping the other meta perks and pretending they're good at the game to try something new. Or realize how insanely strong Poised is. This literally happens every patch. New perks come out, everyone cries they're trash and doesn't run it. Then out of nowhere it shows up everywhere, and no one can remember saying it was a bad perk and you're crazy for not running it.
3 -
I like it with quick and quiet, sprint, and lightweight.
The "I was never there" build.
Maybe a slightly shorter duration. But I like it how it is.
4 -
Yeah I remember when everyone started running Aftercare, Autodidact, Boil Over, Dance With Me, Distortion, Stake Out, Breakdown, Diversion, Tenacity, and Windows of Opportunity.
Some of those perks are pretty good.. but does this happen every patch? No. And none of them would be crazy not to run.
Why make up a history that's easily proven false?
7 -
Distortion is absolutely run quite a bit. So is Breakdown. Why? Because both are really damn good perks (and Distortion is actually broken just like Poised).
Why not admit that survivors have a lot of really damn good perks?
0 -
It's fine. Move along. Nothing to see here.
6 -
The typical wah they have a good perk wah ignore killers have good perks also routine along with wah the meta wah. Heaven forbid survivors try different perks and find good combinations to try out and have fun with.
7 -
The only perk I don't see out of those is stake Out, Tenac, Autodidact. Which are arguably meh perks. So, not sure what your point is here again. I said good perks.
0 -
Wow a perk that actually makes a difference in the game NERF IT
10 -
If you think survivors don't get at least one each patch, + freshly buffed old perks I don't know what to tell you.
0 -
Actually you said perks that are "everywhere" and "you're crazy for not running it." Neither of which applies to any of those perks. Even Deliverance, the most popular survivor perk of the past few DLCs is not everywhere or crazy good.
4 -
I literally said in my post that plenty of them are good. None of them are crazy to go without though. Just calling out an exaggerater
0 -
Last 5 games had it. No one must run it I guess. :/
0 -
I haven't seen it in 5 games. Guess that cancels out your anecdote. :/
Just try not to exaggerate so much, kay?

I see these perks. They are good perks. Because everyone is too busy mindlessly humping Adrenaline and other perks that play the game for them. Cuz survivor isn't braindead ######### easy as it is. Doesn't mean these perks are bad, or don't get played with. That is my point.

I definitely think they do. They should, the whole purpose of perks is to make a difference in the game and if they don't do that then there's no point in having them. Killers get good perks too. Corrupt Intervention is one of the best killer perks there is.
I'm all for survivor perks that promote a playstyle other than genrush and stall the killer, because that stuff is super annoying

It's fine the way it is the funniest thing is when people complain about how survivors don't try to hide and just try and loop the killer for 5 gens but then people ask for nerfs for stealth perks not saying you're one of those people but I'd rather there be more stealth but like many have said before aggressive game play is more rewarding rn and I like the new perks they have added that have been buffing stealth btw distortion ect. But who knows I guess that's just my opinion I would just rather have a meta where we actually try to not get found by the killer rather than try and loop the killer for long as possible but eventually get downed.

Yeah, this forum is such a big place that I need to "follow" you. Get over yourself. I click on whatever is on the front page and respond to recent comments.
I don't need to twist anything, you said blatantly false things so I corrected you.
Moving on.

Imagine perks actually being good for survivors and killers I guess if we classify perks as buffs now we've sunk pretty low. A perk is supposed to help the person using it not be a useless thing of trash and as for freshly buffed old perks I haven't noticed any buffed old perks but can someone inform me on that?
1 -
@powerbats I was basically trying to say this but I didn't want to come out as harsh in my original comment
3 -
Perk is useful? Better nerf it.
1 -
CI is actually terrible. We figured it'd be good, but they just rush the other gens. You'll get into a chase fast most games anyway so it only really helps set-up killers. Infectious Fright is good, one of the first times we're getting a perk that works on multiple killers. Not some meme perk, or perk that's only good on one single killer. A lot of times we get meme perks, that don't even work.

It's good as it is. Perks only affects solo players though.
0 -
I try and be polite about it but there's a core group that just needs to get hear it spoken in it's purest form.
0 -
@Caretaker you are sounding very killer biased, both sides get good perks with every chapter/perk buffs. Btw my build is adrenaline, BL, SC and BK. These perks do not guarantee a win and I’ve used poised a lot, if the killer has eyes it doesn’t work out all to well.
1 -
I've 100% the game. I play both sides. I'm not so blind that I don't see poor map design, horrible perk balance, and other issues are ruining the killer experience. I don't see how having totally safe loops next to each other is ok. Why you should get a free 3s sprint for screwing up. If you play right, you can infinite Haddonfield, and Ormond to some extent. What good perks did we get? Why do you only see a set of 8-12 perks whereas survivors get a slew of niche to meta perks that really help enhance their gameplay?
If you're using Poised, you should probably be breaking LOS, or not in LOS at all so you can sprint off free of scratch marks and reposition yourself. This community likes to pretend like stealth doesn't exist, and it's impossible, but almost every game tonight someone stealthed, let their team die, and got he hatch.
That's exactly why I don't really like playing survivor. It's stupid easy. I run No Mither and ######### around, and still somehow live. I shouldn't be, nor should my team, but we do. Even when I'm running solo I'll get plenty of good games to offset the bad.
1 -
What are you talking about No Mither is a crutch perk jk lol but honestly don't underestimate no mither squads they can be a force to be reckoned with.
1 -
People laugh at Resil, but that 9% adds up over time. +No blood and lower grunts makes you a stealth gen machine. I meme about tunneling a No Mither, but if they're any bit coordinated and know how to hide they're gonna give you the most trouble.
0 -
No Mithers scare me the most because A they are confident enough to basically be 1 hit for the entire game and B the gen rush potential
0 -
Lol what a surprise. Killer is easier than ever, survivors get a so-so perk and people are already asking for nerfs.
1 -
I don't really worry about them unless it's the 4 shirtless Davids those you've got to bring an Ebony for.
1 -
Pretty much. It's funny people say how hard it is to play survivor saying solo is impossible, but I run around with No Mither and have 0 issues. Yet killers are constantly told to git gud as survivors just run pallet to pallet. Amazing.
1 -
You must main Freddy cuz you're in a dream world bud.
1 -
How so?

It's easier to play killer now, for sure, easiest though? Idk. 2.0~ was the best time for killers. It really felt like it was heading in a relatively good direction.
0 -
Make that 2.1
2.1 was when the game really made strides towards actually being balanced. Everything since then has been a shitshow

Boil Over is just trash. I've tried to make it work but the 75% struggle effects on the killer does not feel enough or highly impactful to buy time for you to wiggle since the killer still have complete control to where they are moving just that they lean to the side most of the time and get stuck for a few seconds probs 1-3.

Poised is absolutely fantastic with coordinated swf.
1 -
YAY survivors actually got a good perk lets nerf it.
