Jump scares with Head On
I'm trying to find fun ways to use Jane's Head On perk. So far it hasn't been particularly useful and I'm looking for more ideas.
I know it's early but my first impression is that this is a VERY situational perk. Most games I don't see any opportunity to use it at all. It's something you have to go out of your way to set up, and then either get lucky or be coordinated on SWF team to have the killer run past you.
The best use for me so far has been to run it with Bond and hide in a locker nearby where I see someone being chased. If they bring the killer past me I spring out and go all five nights at Freddy's on them.
Is anyone else having fun with this? Any other good jump scare tactics I could be using?

Mine hasn’t been working even when the killer is right beside me. The perk seems trash tier to me.

It's great for memes. You know that place with five or six lockers on the new map? I wanna play SWF, with Head On on and everybody, plus Vigil. All of goes into lockers there and wait for crows, then stun the killer again and again and again. I wonder if we can pull it off long enough for the first of us to recover from Exhaustion (I think Vigil does not stack, sadly... does it?)

Vigil does stack and why TF didn’t I think of this you my friend are a genius!

The devs literally only made this perk because they wanted to "create dramatic survival moments" with the lockers. They don't care if it's useful, they just wanted to see if they can make the game feel more tense and dramatic. I think it's garbage and I hide in lockers a good amount.

@Kurisataru I agree the usefulness of it is very questionable, to put it mildly. But I like funny perks. I used to dislike trolling, but lately I find it more and more fun. There was this time when we already opened exit gates agasint that poor Bubba, I was the last one, and I just had to do the lockerjumping thing in the shack, near exit, so when he finally made it there I could give him a final stun and get out. He was cool about after game, fortunately. I think after 1-2000 hours most of us prefers funny stuff as opposed to try our hardest every match.

It has very inconsistent hit-boxes. I've seen it hit when the killer was far from the locker and other times do absolutely nothing.

Use Quick & Quiet for that mid chase stun/near gen stun.
AND HOPE they hitbox actually works, the killer doesn't smack you while you're doing the stun or you don't get grabbed cause Head On decided it doesn't want to work that moment

Head On works in a really strange way. The stun only happens if the killer is in front of you at the BEGINNING of the exit animation. Ussylis made a great video explaining it in detail.

vigil doesn't stack unfortunately

Ah yes you’re right! I just searched it up they must’ve changed it because back when it first released it stacked. Oh well it’s still a nice idea

I recommend practicing then because I get use out of it and don’t use lockers often
