New Ranking system ruins different killer strategies

I've been doing a 3 gen strategy with trapper, and because you don't typically chase survivors at the start, you get points deducted from scoring for letting them go while you set up your web of traps.

Right now, the only emblem rewarding strategy to rank up is find, chase, kill.

Why would the devs actively discourage being creative or take a different approach than the norm? I doubt they planned on this, but it's a very short sighted thing and very disappointing.

Forcing the same way of play over and over is unhealthy for a game and this really needs to change.
