i am on ps4, before patch 2.6 was released the matchmaking was acceptable. i could find solo games within 1 minute and swf within max 5 min.
after 2.6 the matchmaking is a desaster. at the beginning it was ok with the time indicator, but after they changed it again its just awful.
yesterday i "played" more than 2 hours with a friend and we could play only 4 games! sometimes we waited 15-20min for a lobby, then killer dodges the lobby. sometimes survivor just dc during the trail. its really frustating and not fun anymore. no wunder if people quite the game. hope they fix it soon

Actually, survivors are not DCing on purpose sometimes, because the ping will make them disconnect from the host sometimes
