Devs, give us something to stay...
Tell me you have something planned that's gonna keep killers in the game... Give us some info about Legion or Freddy, give us some info about gen rush, please talk to us...

We gave our feedback about what kind of buff Legion and The Plague needed and we got ignored (just because devs dont want another Billy Tier killer)
We gave feedback about Thanatophobia being a good change and we got ignored...
We gave feedback about BBQ nerf due to the locker auras thing and we got ignored...
We gave feedback about Mettle of Man and we got ignored...
You talk about how you want fun in the game but you keep creating mid tier killers at best, a.k.a killers that are easy to bully... please tell me how being bullied is fun... Im still waiting for my fun when playing Clown or Freddy...
You talk about how you want killers to not tunnel but you nerfed 2 of the best perks that were designed to reward the killer if he goes after multiple people (Thana and BBQ)...
You talk about how you want to fix gen rush but dont want to change the speed at which gens can be done and instead nerf Self-care (something nobody asked for) and make gen rush even worse...
You know something? All my friends are gone from the game... I've said a lot of times that I play SWF, right? I also said they played killer as well... Guess what? They are gone because they are tired of getting punished no matter what they do when they play killer... Im the only one left playing this game because Im the one making posts here trying to find the reason to stay...
You know what's worse? Survivors saying "oh just dont tunnel, oh just go after multiple people". Like I already said... you take away 2 of the best perks that are meant to go after multiple people and you tell killers to not tunnel and go apply map preassure but you dont talk about how people dont care about healing because they are better off just doing gens and getting Adrenaline...
Im done with waiting, if I dont see any news on the middle-chapter update about something significant Im done with the game... Killers are leaving because we are tired of being treated like sh*t...
And to all of you survivors mains I say this: Have fun with your new long queue times, Im pretty sure you'll come to the forums complaining about it, that's all you do, complain about things that dont need a change just because you dont want to see the other side of the spectrum. You are just like a Rich man complaining about a Homeless man having a decent dinner...

I literally stopped playing killer after this patch MoM is biggest ######### slap to m1 killers making them even more trash now its time to main survivor

Unfortunate as it is to say, the game currently isn't fun.
It doesn't even feel like I'm overcoming anything. More than half the cast was just straight up invalidated by MoM.
Maybe the devs just want to make Billy the only killer killers are allowed to play?

I'm curious if they have statistics that prove or don't prove what you say. You speak of one side, but don't consider players who play this game solo instead of swf.
~ It takes them a long time to get things updated. Take a break from this game if it's too much, and wait for updates that you would be interested.

There is huge gap between solo and swf and everyone who can think 2 steps ahead knows in order to get the best balanced experience for everyone it needs to be closed as much as possible without adding voice coms. Now, what we got so far? Obsession legs on ONE single survivor at best. No more attempts from the devs side.
Its not like we don't want solos to have fun. We actually want, cuz majority here plays solo. It's just the devs don't make any actions to do it.

Well... The playerbase has declined and hasnt come up since the last update, when a DLC cant bring players back you know there is something wrong...

So you havent even read the post... Im not crying, Im just bringing up facts. I dont want anything to be done for me (unlike most survivors relying on crutch perks and stuff like that). I just want some information about the current problems of the game.
I bet you dont even play killer... and if you do you havent faced competent survivors...

@tt_ivi_99 I'm afraid that the only way to see killer buffs is if all killers unite and intentionally use the least viable perks and all depip. If all killers fail then the devs will be forced to buff killers or the game will die.
Aside from this I don't understand how or why BHVR would even consider buffing killers.
I mean, we could also always massively complain about Ash Williams on social media and boycott the entire Evil Dead franchise too, but I would lock that idea in a strongbox as a "last resort". What would this accomplish? The devs have announced that they are planning a sweep of liscenced folks with Ash being the forefront. If enough backlash and negative brand recognition (of Ash Williams) is generated you might just throw an iridescent wrench straight into their plans as none of the other parties will agree to liscence with BHVR if it seems like all it will do is damage their brand.

But the main problem is not just Ash and his DS 2.0, the main problem is that after so many months we still dont have a single significant buff to killers in general. Billy and Nurse are still top tier for some reason...
I dont know why Devs would want killers to be so weak, I mean...if there are no killers there is no game. They keep giving us band-aids and they still dont talk about things like gen rush, endgame, hatch, infinite loops, etc, which leads me to thing that they have nothing even planned...

Freddy Rework? Probably gonna be implemented the same length of they took to "Nerf" DS. Totums fixes? Never gonna happen. If Freddy does get a rework, it will not be at its potential because they are too scared to make Billy tier killers. I get that not every killer will be TOP tier but still. Then Survivors like myself will cry about Freddy and they will nerf again, cuz they listen to survivors and make changes right away.
They don't patch bugs like spectating the killer that I have been getting. Called every single movement to my SWF Squad.
SWF will never be addressed.
Gen Rush...NEVER gonna see that fixed. You have ban-aids mate. Take up two perk slots to buy yourself a staggering 3 minutes! (Corrupt Intervention/Ruin)

It does the same thing Dead Hard does, except you can't use it every single time you get injured, it only works once you've been hit 3 times already.

Dude, did you even read the hole post When survivors dont care about healing you dont have preassure, doesnt matter how fast you are at catching the one person you are chasing.
If the survivor can run your ass for all 5 gens that's your problem as killer, sure, but when you play as Billy with Enduring and Spiritual Fury and you end chases in less than 1 min but still get your ass rushed to death there is something wrong with the game.
Also, supposed genrush? You mean devs are working on second mandatory objectives for no reason at all? Give me a break...

That was with Nurse. Imagine with Clown as you said, or like Trapper. He has plenty of vids showing games like this. Games where DS turns a L to a W.

I'm with you. I'm just not having fun anymore. The balance is my big issue. Killers bring up SWF and high rank balance to the devs and their response is play Nurse? That's such a cop out. Any time I bring up gen speed some hero chimes in saying it's the killer's fault. Sure. I'll just pressure the map against good survivors on Yamaoka estate with Clown, especially when their teammates have relayed to each other that I'm on my way.

As I already said in the post, my last hope is having at least some info about a good buff to killers... Gen rush, end-game, hatch, something like that...
If they dont have anything planned Im done, I've waited enough, just like many others...

In which universe is the 3 gen strategy a good strategy? You know... Your animation to kick a gen takes around 2-3 seconds, meanwhile the survivor's animation to stop the regression is at 0.3 at worst...
And if we talk about Overchage and stuff like that... Why does a killer have to rely on specific add-ons/perks to win while survivors can just go around winning matches easily without perks/items?

I can see your concern on the decrease of the player base, and why you want to know what's happening to the developers. I just wouldn't know if the problems you've addressed is all of the reasons why people leave. In fact, one way to solve a problem can cause more problems for this game.
I slowly stopped playing DbD because the game mode feels repetitive, the perks don't look interesting to me from the past updates, and there's a lack of rewards for rank. I admit I bought The Plague dlc thinking Head On would be cool, but refunded it when the perk is bugged and the queue change was reverted.
Overall, the developers probably don't know what is the best solution to these issues, and have to test their ideas.

Word, also, I play several killers, faced a full swf mettle of man team rank 5. It didn't help, it doesn't always help. Prepare for a meta change, all games have a meta change. It isn't d strike. When metas shift maybe your tactics should, that's how it is. We also don't know what perks are coming in the future.

We were also getting 4K when DS was around, that doesnt mean it's balanced...
Why do killers get punished for playing good while survivors can ######### up so many times and get rewarded for it?
And survivor mains say killer is easy... Everyone can get consistent 4k against potatoes, just saying...

I am a survivor main and I approve this thread.
The most important thing is secondary objectives and it is being ignored and ignored and ignored...
I don't want to use ruin or NOED, disable these two perks for a week and we'll see how much your game is balanced. These 2 perks are terrible RNG perks that don't achieve anything.

Well I am a solo and I want to be able to communicate with other players so speak for yourself what is the best and the most balanced for you. Online games withouth any interaction with other players are just going to die because it becomes boring after a while

Yes because when facts don't matter make stuff up, it's not like they didn't do 2 secondary objectives test runs to Iron out problems or anything. Because throwing something out there that's not well tested and thought out will just cause more whiny rant threads from the same whiny posters.
They've implemented a lot of changes, ahd issues, changed the game engine which caused massive problems for them and everyone else running it. Oh and lets not forget a lot of things HAVE TO WAIT FOR DEDICATED SERVERS.
But if you all want garbage to crash non stop for things that were never meant to run on a P2P platform go right ahead.

You mean Halloween and New Year's Pig? You know... Those 2 events is which survivors would just suicide on hook or gen rush anyway because the time it took to find a vessel was none existent?
Im still waiting news about a second mandatory objective, you know... Something that makes the survivors move around the map to complete a gen and risk their life if they want to stay injured, instead of just sitting on a gen holding M1 until It pops...

You have valid complaints- but then you call MoM a good perk and I know it’s that you need to improve as Killer. Some of your complaints (Thana, Legion and Purge buffs) are true- but a lot of it is entitled killer nonsense, no different than survivors whining about NOED.

That's where you are a wrong, MoM has the same purpose as old DS and we all know how broken it was. + Old DS could be "countered" by ANY killer with ANY loadout by dribling the survivor... You now need to play Billy so that you never get hit by it MoM...
One of the problems of this perk is that after the devs recognized how they messed up with old DS saying "we feel like the killer is getting punished for something that it's not his fault" they just release a perk that does exactly the same as old DS... That's another of the reasons why this perk is so awful...
You know what's worse? Devs wont give It any counter because they know if they'd do then all killers would counter It and not a single survivor would buy the perk, making them loose money. I knew this was gonna happen, that's why I made that post about removing the perk before it was released, a lot of people did the same thing but as usual... Killers keep getting ignored...

It's not gauranteed like ds. Learn and adapt first. The best killers have secondary attacks and instadowns, most which stops mettle of man from charging early anyway. People complain too much instead of being practical. Play it out first then see.

Lower tier killers can't so rip most of em. Hag, wraith freddy. Just gotta eat it and try devour or other exposed effects. Clown just run the pinky finger. The exposed effect will give them 3 charges but they will be downed and on death hook already. In top rank play anyway you run the best stuff.

I faced a full swf team with m.o.m. with freddy and swept. I ran a devour build so will attribute it to that somewhat. But many killers have secondary attacks or ways to bring them down to injured like plague, preventing them from reaping rewards. With meta and tiers, the better killers offer more rewards. All killers are not equal.

Why do I, as killer, have to run a specific build/add-on or play a specific killer to counter a perk? I dont see any survivor running specific perks/items to find my totems and basically leave me with 3 perk slots...
