There Can be Two Versions of a Character In The Game

On numerous occasions the devs have explained that time works differently in the Entity's world. The Nurse was taken by the entity during WWII (her wwii nurse uniform), and The Shape was alive in the late 70's (the year Halloween came out). In addition, survivors who loose hope become killers, however reading some of the killer's lore, it's clear not all killers are from survivors, some were taken to the Entity's world while already insane and murderous. Using this information we can establish 3 facts-

  1. The concept of time works differently in the Entity's world
  2. The Entity can take in people from different points in time from the real world
  3. Some killers were once survivors, but not all

Using these facts, it is completely possible that the entity took in a killer, let's say Evan Macmillan, after becoming a insane in the real world (exploding the mineshaft) and then took another version of Evan from before he became insane. So now young Evan Macmillan is a survivor, and the older Evan Macmillan is a killer. I explained this kind of poor but I hope you all understand.

I dont think that's how it works. The Entity can only take the killers after they have committed an act of intense violence.

Sortof related but not really I would love a survivor who was being driven to madness by the Entity but right before doing the evil deed they snap out of it. So the Entity sucks them in to be hunted as punishment for their defiance.

It can also take survivors who haven't committed an intense act of violence. So it takes the past version of a killer as a survivor, and the future version as a killer.

Devs like their lore vague, so who knows.

The survivor must have a lot of hope to be dragged into the Entitity.
    Otherwise the survivors is useless

A lot of survivors who tell newbies stuff are no where to be seen. Some of the killers weren't bad people before they came to this world. The Wraith, for instance. He could have started off as a survivor and got corrupted with all the death, becoming a killer. I don't think it's referring to getting two people, but explaining why some recognizable survivor names aren't present in the roaster.
