Too many Survivor players refused to get good and were whining, so the devs created Mettle of Man to appease them. I'm hoping they see their mistake and nerf or rework the perk by patch 2.7.0. Currently, the perk is stronger than DS pre-2.6.0.

How about adding a similar park to a killer?
If a normal attack is hit three times, the next attack will be Exposed.

MoM has nothing to do with tunneling

This perk is OP in good SV hands and absolutely broken with good SWF.

@pungent_stench Against good survivors, yes. Against those survivors for who you don't need perks and add-ons and still win, no.

I posted a suggestion on how to fix it in another thread so it's not so much of an issue especially with other perks.
It won't quote properly but where's what i wrote in response along with the idea and it gives both sides something.

I think 3 is fine but it should have some drawbacks like once you get that 3 hit you're now exhausted for 120/90/60 seconds.
That and or to get it to reset and perhaps have a lower exhaustion cooldown (doesn't have to be both) you have to perform a "SAFE UNHOOK".
So you'd have your 1 guaranteed usage of the perk but after that you'd have to do something Altruistic which fits the thematic aspect.
To keep you from simply recharging at will give the safe unhook a 120/90/60 second cooldown timer."

This in not true BBQC help both killer and survivors. Killers can find survivors ( if they are idiots) and the same time they leave the hook for a save. Head On is nice meme perk it's can be fun but that all. MoM is anather story, MoM give you a free hit ( like DS, BT) but with no limits no timer, no make a safe hook, nothing. I know you need it in order to survive but in any other skillful player this is too much power.

That's not much more of a penalty, though. You're dead on hook most of the times MoM triggers.

Survivors have to deal with instant downs, camping, tunneling, noed. Like are survivors not suppose to have a way to try to counter that?

I see both sides but people use mom in 20 through ten, but it drops off due to survivors alway expecting a hill billy or a insta down killer. Swf the people who have it are chasers and the gen jocks dont so just leave the best for last and get the gen rushes then get thw mom user.

One of my favorite Youtubers/Streamers Ardetha stopped playing killer.
If you don't know him, he's a God-Tier Nurse. I asked him during a live stream why he stopped playing killer and maining survivor and he responded because of Mettle of Man. DS was fixed and another perk took its place. I haven't had a problem with Mettle because I main Nurse, but I understand the pain.
Nurse will be affected by this soon, and I believe I'll go survivor when it happens.
