Another DC Thread because it's real af out there

So...I'm tired as hell of people DCing before even 1 gen can get done. Whether I play survivor or killer there is a MINIMUM of 1 DC IN EVERY FREAKING GAME I PLAY. I rarely play this game for more than 2-3 hours every other+ days, but yesterday I was on for like 4.5 hours and LITERALLY EVERY GAME I PLAYED HAD AT LEAST 1 DC.

Personally, I will DC from a game for these reasons:

The ping is suddenly spiking like mad in game

The killer is trying to force farm or hold a game hostage//The survivors are trying to hold a game hostage (And I don't mean hatch standoffs, that's not holding a game hostage that's 2 people expecting the other to be dumber than themselves until someone loses.)

There seems to be lag switching


So because I do have valid reasons for DCing, I don't believe in punishing DC but I'm with the people who say there needs to be a reward for those who don't.

2-3 DCs = Remaining survivor(s) get a Left Behind like status but for doing a gen together although risky they can get a bonus to the co-op BP. Cleansing totems, searching chests, and hook sabos also give bonus bp. I think instead of just rewarding the bonus bps to survivors right away they should just have to earn as much as they can get from doing the gens or whatever. Should the survivors choose just to farm it puts the killers at an advantage too but they'll probably have to search longer for survivors because they can't just expect them to only be on gens. (The only one that should apply to SWF are the coop gen bonus, and cleansing totems)

The killer gets bonus bloodpoints for hooking survivors remaining, damaging generators, finding survivors in lockers, pulling survivors off of something, finding survivors. This is because some killers like to let people go when their teammates dc so, entitled whiny survivors could have no reason to expect killers to take mercy on them and give them the exit or farm just because of the circumstances. I think for killers the bonus should be capped lower than survivors.



TLDR; I feel like a farmable but capped reward system will at least make people kill themselves on the hooks rather than just DC if they're upset with their teammates or the killer just to make sure they don't get the bonuses. And would be more effective for stopping salt DCs if nothing else. DCs in general shouldn't be punished because there can be valid reasons for doing so.

Also, just to say it again, I think part of this dc epidemic is the DS Nerf so that might need to be looked at.
