DCing is part of DBD, there is no solution, hopeless to complain
None can force someone to not DC, is that much hard to understand?

I only will dc if I spawn with a wiggle bar or have to go. But in a way yes dcing is a part of the game.

The DC is meant for people who are either stuck in a game to be able to leave or if they are having some sort of other issue. Or possibly to leave if they need to do something else. Players instead are abusing the system to leave whenever they get mad/get outplayed and are salty. So it is less of an issue of leaving but more of abusing them system, and it is the abusers of the system that need to get punished.
Now that is not that hard to understand.

And those who dc too often shouldn't be allowed to play the game.
We have a dc mentality now that players think it's okay to dc only because a match isn't going the way they want. This has to change.

@sKetch You didn't understand what I wrote. Players who abuse the dc function are killing the fun for everyone else.
There are players who dc only because they don't want to play against 2 or 3 certain killers. There are players who dc when they are getting downed for the first time. Every time these people dc, they ruin the match for 4 other players. These are not the players we need for this community.

@sKetch That would make dc's only less annoying, but they would still be annoying. And it wouldn't deter dc's.
I just want to play a normal game and I can't do that when somebody dc's. We need punishments for dc's so that players only dc when it's really necessary.

There is a solution tho, Harsher punishments for Intentional DC's. Devs need to acknowledge that their rules around DCs are so loose that people don't care.

Yeah people will keep D/C no matter what. Even risking permanent bans. With this potato hitreg it doesn't take much to piss people off.

Punishing DCers works even for free games like LoL or Dota 2 but it is not going to work in this paid game with this much grind.

Solution: DC's become zombified, doing basic tasks like gens, open gates and escape only, using AI

Dcing is only part of the game if someone decides to dc. When someone decides to dc they should be unable to play the game after 2 dcs in quick succession and bloodpoints decay on each dc(-8%)

If they can't handle facing consequences for making the game of others terrible, good riddance.

I see no issue with folks uninstalling the game cause they disconnected and got punished for it. Punishment is a learning tool, if you don’t learn your lessons then maybe they shouldn’t be playing in the first place, leaving room in the lobbies for folks who are worth keeping around.
