PS4 Name Changes

As from today/tomorrow PS4 users can change usernames but Sony say it may affect progress in some games. Does anyone know if we'll lose progress or anything on DBD if we change PSN names?

    You’re free to change your name as much as you want on the PC version of DbD and that doesn’t affect any progress, so you should be fine with going through with it, however, I’d wait and see from someone who officially has a PS4 account to confirm this, or you could go look into the bugs section of the forums to check out if anyone has reported any issues with the naming system for PS4.     A large majority of the most-played PS4 games that we tested support the feature. We recommend that you check this list of tested games before you make the actual change. PS3 and PS Vita games are not supported.
