I really want to but as a digital game owner and trophy hunter (la noire just gave me my 40th plat) I don’t want to risk it until it’s definitely safe to do so.

This 1000 times. I'd rather just make a new account and play both and HAVE my progress than risk losing everything over my name.
But I am glad its close...
Looked into it, and was more hopeful until I saw this....
Not losing bloodborne...of all the games....damn you Sony!

It would be one thing if the issues this came down to was that older games before April 2018 just used your original psn name, no big deal. But the issues are very cryptic and not really specific. I’m not changing until I know it won’t ruin years of work and money.

It actually does detail the issues if you go to the lists.
The major issues are for like 10 games and may just not work.
Bloodborne is in som issues, which is like I'd displaying wrong or setting reverting until you re log in.
I may actually try it out.

I get what you mean. I did see some games on the list from before then. I think they meant that was a cutoff for almost guaranteed work. Like attack on titan and battlefront 1 supposedly work.

You did see that that's a game with issue that are basically settings and ID display, right?
I said the same thing with bloodborne, but if it's just settings it's not a big deal lol.
Not to mention you could revert....

Yeah I kind of read it, so there's a 50/50 chance nothing will happen and something will happen that's what it means. Right
And I read some where in there that if you revert back to your old psn might not fix it either

I love how they took this long to allow it and yet there's still many issues. At least lower the price per change after the free one since it's so messed up :>

I might end up just changing my name to just PhantomMask since those numbers after don't mean anything to me. I'll wait for it to be functioning properly though, I'm not that desperate :P

I changed my name. Before I was unique amongst my friends in that I didn't have a number. Now I have a number in my name.
