Legion Changes (Deep Wound Nerf)
I'll cut to the point since y'all already know why Legion is widely hated as a killer. However, before I start, anything in () is extra information for clarification.
Power: Feral Frenzy
The Legion has a Frenzy power gauge that builds up over time. The power, Feral Frenzy, can be activated by tapping the Power button. While active, the power gauge drains rapidly and the power ends when the gauge is empty, triggering an extended recovery cool-down (3 seconds).
When activating Feral Frenzy, The Legion enters a deadly rage. While the power is active:
- The Legion sprints faster than base movement speed (115% to 130%).
- The Legion can vault Pallets, but cannot break them.
- Survivors' Scratch Marks and blood pools are hidden from The Legion's view.
- Missed attacks have a reduced cool-down but considerably drains the power gauge.
While Feral Frenzy is active, hitting a Survivor who is not currently afflicted with the Deep Wound Status Effect:
- Applies the Deep Wound Status Effect. Healthy survivors will have 30 seconds to mend and injured survivors will have 15 seconds to mend.
- Injures the Survivor, if they are not already injured.
- Refills The Legion's entire power gauge.
- Triggers "Killer Instinct", revealing the auras of all Survivors who are mending while they perceive your terror radius as being 0 meters. (If the Survivor(s) stop mending during "Killer Instinct", the "Killer Instinct" effects will persist on them until the power gauge depletes)
While Feral Frenzy is active, hitting a Survivor is currently afflicted with the Deep Wound Status Effect:
- Increases a portion of the Survivor's Deep Wound bleed-out timer (by adding 15 seconds to the timer).
- Considerably increases the survivor's mend time (by adding 5 more seconds)
- Depletes The Legion's entire power gauge and ends the power immediately.
NOTE: Hitting a Survivor with a basic attack while Feral Frenzy is not active will deplete the entire power gauge.
Deep Wound
Survivors will no longer be able to see their Deep Wound meter below their health status. It's now a background timer that they cannot see.
When within 24 meters from the killer, the Deep Wound timer will pause.
When mending, if at anytime the action is interrupted, instantly enter the dying state.
