DC makes losing pips

So basically I am rank 11 almost 10, I was 1 pip away from getting the 10th rank and this Nurse dc at 5 mins of the game starting, we were 3 gens away from getting the doors opened and the killer DC’d and I lost a pip, I was mad and I got into a game and lost another pip because the killer was good and I got really frustrated. Why do we need to keep on losing pips because of the rage of others?!? Do something about DC, like if the the killer DC before 5 mins no one loses nothing , and after 5 mins every one should gain or maintain the pips
