Why don't the developers do double blood points more often?

Prolly to reward the players that took the time to get where they are now rather than let newer players farm out double bp because it happens every week and get to the level the players who have played for a long time are at.

That is a good way to kill your game :D

I'm starting to play less and less now, as the grind is getting too much, RNG is too much of a #########, I want to play different builds, mix up my game play a bit, but if I save up 1 million BP, blow them, and end up getting tier 1 and tier 2 versions of ######### perks it is completely demoralizing and demotivating.
Also, it feels like a waste of time, especially since a lot of the games on the road to those 1 million BP were not enjoyable (DC's, 3 man games etc)

Because it'll break the "economy", as they've said before.

Because the grind is the only thing why players still play

Well, combined with the other bug issues, the BP grind has sort of been the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Tired of grinding out BP in glitchy matches just for rng to screw me over every time. Too many new perks, and too many new characters to get perks on. Add in items and killer addons, and it is a slow grind. 1 million BP is like a drop in the bucket.
Something needs to be done soon. I have not played in over a week and honestly have not had the urge to.

@Andreyu44 Nah making progression pointless by doing constant bp events is how you kill it.
Bloodpoints/leveling is the only incentive to play because ranks mean nothing.
Take away or lessen the reason to play and no one will.

I really think this "tier" thing is kind of bullshit. Specially now that we have so many perks. So you need to be lucky enough to find the perk you want on the bloodweb and then be even luckier to find it another two times! The grind is atrocious.
For example, my Level 30 David King still have "we'r gonna live forever" tier 1! And it's one of his starting perks!! Which means in 30 bloodwebs I couldnt find it again. It is a pain.

A lot of players are leaving due to the grind.
But,yeah, sure. Giving 2X bloodpoints once in a while would kill this game, lmao.

@Andreyu44 If anything the grind is too fast now...
Cakes/bps/puddings are handed out like candy. Bbq and wglf double your bp every match and a new dlc only adds 400k bp to the grind per character.
If they do more 2x they should nerf wglf/bbq/streamers puddings and cakes

This is an argument that I never fully understood, so once you have all perks unlocked etc you are going to stop playing the game? Surely once you have all the perks, that'll mean you'll play more, trying up different combinations of perks etc.
And as the new content just keeps on coming and perks being changed up that'll add more variety. if i see a Fog Whisperer/Youtub'er using a certain build that looks fun I would want to try that build.
I guess its the same thing that once someone finishes renovating a house, they don't want to live in it and enjoy it, they want to sell and move onto the next project. :/

@will_i_am_14_85 once you've achieved everything you've finished the game. No reason to play without a goal.
You won't get bored if there is so much grind you never hit the end. You always have reason to keep going new stuff to unlock.

Yesterday, i prestiged my Nea. Anyways, I had level 1 urban the ENTIRE 50 levels. On level 50 is when level 2 urban popped up.

Do you only play to grind? I play for the fun of it, cause I enjoy the gameplay. Making the grind easier would just make said gameplay more fun.

If you've playec a game for 4k hours you're probably not having as much fun as you originally did.
Multiplayer games live on grind because they get old eventually. You csn only run in circles so much.

If you're literally only playing for the grind then that's not much of a reason to keep playing if you don't enjoy the game that much. If you can't enjoy the gameplay anymore then you should just play another game.

The events wouldn't have to be constant, they could be every few months or so to spice it up for a weekend

The. Grind. Is. Unreal.
It would take years for an average player to get all characters P3 Lv 50 with all perks, dont be dramatic.
Besides, the goal is TO HAVE FUN in a videogame (surprising,uh?)
And people would have more fun if they could get the build they want.

@Bbbrian2013 What?
That is the funniest post on here.
The grind is only easy for those who have no life. Who can spend 40+ hours a week playing this game.
Even a streamer who plays this game as a job will find this grind a joke.
Any casual player who doesn't spend money to get BBQ and Chili off of Bubba and then spend time leveling up David, has zero chance in grinding out this game.
They need 2+ million just to get started in the game.
Good luck doing that as a new player.. You might just want to quit before you get that far, since that just gets you started before you want to level up other players for a couple meta perks, so you have a chance now.
