This is almost always a visual bug and you don't actually lose a pip and once you go back to lobby screen it shows back up. There's a rare bug where you actually do lose a pip though when the killer dc's.

The killer loses pips when a survivor does it and survivors are way more likely to do it atm i usually get 1 or more per game.

Salty friends DC on queue when their friend dies.

This is not a killer vs. survivor issue. A dc hurts the other players, no matter the role they are playing. We need a better compensation for everyone when there is a dc in the match.

I don't agree with compensation i think punishment is more the way to go.

Compensation means a bad killer can just camp/tunnel salty survivors into a DC for free boosted stats.

Or as survivors will just try and bully the killer into DC.

Punishing people for leaving games will have a better effect.

@GraviteaUK I never said that I don't want to see punishments. Those players who dc too often shouldn't be allowed to play the game anymore.

But besides that, the other players should get some sort of compensation. It shouldn't be possible that a player depips because another player is dc'ing.

    SWF can abuse that.

Losing a game? have one of your team DC. 1 person takes a hit but the rest get away with it, rinse and repeat.

It's the same reason games like Overwatch don't compensate players for DC's

@GraviteaUK Of course, you only compensate so much that the system won't be abused. It's not okay that a survivor depips because a killer dc's. I don't see a reason why the survivor shouldn't get a safety pip in that situation.

@NoShinyPony It should simply revert to as if the game was never played.

Nothing up nothing down if the killer disconnects.

If another survivor disconnects that's tough, it would be too easily abused.

On the killers end it should count as 1-2 hooks pip per survivor DC so it's a safety pip.

A killer can't exactly abuse the system since it's 4 people he doesn't know and some survivors DC just to spite killers.

@GraviteaUK Yes, something like that. Bottom line: If possible, people should not get punished for other players' dc's.

No, we need harsher punishments for DC. Make then think about wether they REALLY want to DC out of spite to save 3 mins, or take a 3 hour ban.
