About The Legion Change

I really don't understand why people are now complaining that Legion is getting reworked.. Before its what every body wanted, now every one is crying about it. The worst part is, depending on how long his Frenzy lasts (Lets say, 10 seconds) and how slower he moves in Frenzy (Even at 125% he'd be fine) THIS IS A BUFF PEOPLE. He won't be relying on his power, he's short so he'll be able to mind game at certain loops some tall killers wouldn't be able to do. He'll be able to stall the game, and he'll have slight map pressure. Also that 32m Terror Radius? BUFF! Use M&A with Distressing and you got yourself a 48m Terror Radius WHILE IN FRENZY (If you're in a chase) which also gives you Killer Instinct. So now, Legion will have better stalling, tracking, chase capabilities and he'll actually be able to mind game. People need to look into this deeper because there are way too many people snapping at the fact that Legion is being changed. Only thing I disagree with here is missing an attack in Feral Frenzy cancels it.. But I see why they did it.

My problem is that he was the only killer that was actually enjoyable to play, and now they're completely destroying all the best aspects of him as a character. Honestly, I see way more complaints that he's a weak killer than I do about him being too hard to beat, so I really don't know why they've gone and slaughtered him.

I liked the smaller terror radius, it allows me to sneak up on people better, and makes sense with the fact that he looks and acts like a survivor. There are other killers with little to no terror radius, so it wasn't an issue.

While it was a bit annoying how slow the Legion walks normally, Frenzy more than made up for it, and now it really won't, even if they upped the base speed.

I do like that they made the Frenzy longer, and it's fine that they want it to completely refill before you can use it again, but they're making the recharge time longer, while it already takes quite a while. The fact that every little thing ends the Frenzy is annoying, and they've made it worse by making a missed attack also end it when the super fast recovery from missed attacks was one of the really good parts of Frenzy.

There is literally no reason the Deep Wound timer should be paused in a chase, it's long enough that survivors have ample time to lose the killer and mend themselves, and if they can't lose the killer they were going to die anyways so? I don't know why they bothered, it was fine.

They really just should have left the Legion alone and slaughtered someone who was actually OP.

no the terror radius is not a buff it is a nerf because of this. this right here make that terror radius a bad thing

    Deep Wound Update

    • The Deep Wound timer pauses for survivors within The Killer's Terror Radius–regardless of whether they are in a chase or not.

Mending will be like the Pig's traps, it will be used to stall the game and not actually to kill. I will agree this change will be bad, but with a longer mend time this would be solid

Saying that he's the only killer that is enjoyable to play is an opinion, I personally have fun with him but not as much fun as a killer like the Spirit or Wraith (Those are my 2 favorite killers for me currently) also people have been wanting a change simply because he has no counter play to his ability. Pallet? Ignores it. Window? Ignores it. Stealth? Killer Instinct. He was not hard to beat but more of a chore to deal with. Sure it was enjoyable to play as him but not against him. Also the Deep Wound timer should pause during chase, if it wouldn't he'd be even more of a chore to go against, theres already no counter play to Moonwalk Legion other than No Mither, which just to run 1 perk to counter 1 killer is not ideal.

Legion needed change, I personally am happy with the changes and I think he'll even go up in the tier list depending on how slower he is in frenzy and how much they bumped up the duration/recharge.

We want a rework. Not a nerfs for already weak killers.

And the devs want to make the experience more enjoyable for both sides, and don't care how strong or weak a killer is.

Right now it looks like it will be enjoyable for only survivors side. Thanks for another ruined DLC.

They should always care about how weak something is, people won't buy it and play it..

You're acting as if you've played with the changes already. I understand you don't like change but looking for the negatives in every thing is not the way to go. Also we have no idea how the killers will be played with The End Game Collapse, only time will tell.

Legion is weak currently, I still play him. Unless now Legion will be so weak that he won't even be able to injure survivors, then I would understand. But Freddy is the weakest killer and for good reason, but people still play him. Look at any other game, people will play weak characters, because not every one cares about winning, or being the best. They just want to have fun and not see a game as a chore.

Hey guy's, I heard we wanted a new tier to make fun of how garbage something is. I give you the "L Tier". He's just another M1 killer now, he has no real tools to apply more than 4 pounds of pressure, if you run Iron Will you have nothing to worry about from Legion because hurr durr no mend drain in massive 32 meter terror radius (no reason to increase it, if it stayed at 24 this would have been the answer to moonwalking). No blood during frenzy is fine, increasing the recharge time and duration is fine, harder to frenzy down over and over but this makes it easier to hit more than one person. One miss and your done is complete garbage specifically if you play Console it's why you almost never see Nurse on there because the hit reg is unoptimized trash. Frenzy speed reduction with more recovery is just icing on the pain cake. You know a killer is gonna be complete garbage when even survivor mains are asking for you NOT to go this far. For all you shi***s cheering the death of Legion 2 things are gonna come of this change, more bs killers are gonna be used/even more Frank's mixtape because that wasn't touched of all things, and people are gonna just straight quit till they rebuff him.

No, he is indeed garbage now I'm sorry you're wrong. I just wrote an essay on why he will be abysmal if you want to argue this point.

What can the proposed Legion in the changes do that a Wraith can not do or do better? The Wraith can clear pallets/windows faster. He delays more with mangled, moves faster WHILE CLOAKED and keeps his tracking while the Legion announces to everyone he is there for roughly the same or less speed and same damage and regains the use of his power much faster than the Legion will. Coming out of cloak and attacking doesn't stun him and he actually works with many perks that the Legion doesn't get to use normally. And this is the Wraith we are talking about, not even upper tier.

Not many people are gonna quit simply because they're changing 1 killer... He wasn't healthy for the game in the first place and nobody has even tried the changes yet, and they're probably not final. Remember when Legion first came out? Every one thought he was the worst killer in the game until they realized he was better (especially with Frank's Mixtape) Also are you saying that Legion wasen't a BS killer? So you think that a killer with no counter play is fun to go against? He's boring, no matter how good you are, that Legion no matter how much they suck will catch you. Honestly, every one complaining about Legion makes me think of a child just looking at something on their plate and already decided that they don't like it without even trying it. I do agree the changes are harsh, but at least there's counter play now.

Legion was never a top tier to begin with, he was already low-mid tier at best. Simply because he has a little bit of everything, how ever Legion will actually have a killer he can relate too and that's The Doctor, Legion will now have tracking, and will be able to get a first free hit. Now the argument is he basically becomes an M1 killer, there are perks to aide with that. Enduring and Spirit Fury will actually be more useful on him now, he can also use Frenzy to close gaps. Sloppy Butcher will most likely be a good perk as well, before survivors didn't really have to heal as The Legion would skillfully get them downed just as fast as if they we're fully healed. Now, a survivor will have to Mend and Heal. If they don't heal they risk being an easy down, as now he has 115% movement speed. He also has the potential of mind games being shorter than most killers. Places like the haybales on Coldwind, or the area with the 2 dumpsters next to the exit gate on The Game will be great for mind-games. The only problem I have with this change is the fact that missing an attack will cancel the power. Remove that and Legion has the potential of becoming even stronger than he is now.

I semi agree with you, my position in recent changed a little, the 115% is gonna make chases a lot easier but nerfing the ability movement speed and terror radius increase was a terrible idea. With 32 meters people aren't gonna sit around at a gen together and wait to get hit and all they have to do to make his power worthless is run in even slightly different directions. Both of those changes are really all that need to go and he'll be fine. Btw incase anyone missed this in the main page (seems a lot of people did) he will keep his frenzy bar if he misses, so you won't have to charge for long at all if you miss an attack early.

They needed a change. But what they got is nerfed to oblivion.

Imagine a Trapper with no traps. That’s Legion now.

Yeah, sure, Pig has traps that slow the game down a little bit. But they’re also lethal. Legion doesn’t have that. You won’t even down with their power now 😆
