Legion Changes

So as a legion main i have a few gripes on this rework. First one being:

FERAL FRENZY UPDATE

  • The Legion can no longer see blood pools (in addition to not seeing scratch marks) while in Feral Frenzy.
  • Feral Frenzy is immediately and automatically cancelled whenever The Legion misses an attack while in frenzy.

Don't appreciate these two at all. If we can't see scratch marks, nor blood aside from the survivor itself how are we meant to track them? A change like this is bound to result in a lot less legion players actually enjoying and playing them. Could also result in some "toxic" perk meta that no survivor wants to deal with. We need some way to track them blood or scratch marks.

With the feral frenzy one assuming we still have the fatigue will get extremely annoying to deal with. Also just why? Seems like more of a nerf than a rework. If its going to cancel with a miss and we're suffering fatigue each time its going to require us to try extra hard to ensure we don't miss while also keeping the timer for the ability itself in check on top of not having scratch marks or blood to follow the survivor with, then you're also going to pause their deep wounds timer while in the terror radius. This is just a big nerf meant to appear as a rework. Some of the changes alone are fine but those two with a few others that are okay will make legion unplayable or very close to it and not fun to play.

DEEP WOUND UPDATE

  • The Deep Wound timer pauses for survivors within The Killer's Terror Radius–regardless of whether they are in a chase or not.

This one i don't really have much of an issue but if it effects borrowed time killers won't be happy about the removal of the little skill it took to borrowed time save survivors in the end game. If not though its fine i guess.

“We need some way to track them.”

I have two ways, and they’re perk and add on free.

    Eyes and Ears 😮

Point 1: After Legion smacks the survivor, they (survivor) get a...what? 5 foot boost ahead of Legions sprint? Unless you're hitting it around corners and the survivor manages to completely bamboozle you, there's no real impact to Legion's tracking at all as they can easily see the survivor still. What this does do though, is give the survivor a chance in situations like the corn field, corners, etc versus having zero chance the moment you hit them the first time as you can easily...very easily, outrun them while continuing to track, seeing as they can't get out of the blood spatter range before you're back on them.

Point 2: Legion is one killer without a drawback to improper use of his power thus far. Huntress you need to aim, Billy/Bubba you need to time, etc. For Legion, as long as you can *see* a survivor, there's really no impact to just using your power, in fact, it only benefits him/her. By making it so that a misuse (misplay) is punished, it puts him on even ground with other killers in terms of power utility.

Point 3: BHVR turning Borrowed Time into a Deep Wound effect at all was a mistake, and it's something they're going to have to address with this particular update.

All said: Legion's still busted and there's really nothing they can do to make him work unless they strip it back to the framework and rebuild. I get it, killers like having an EZ mode, where they can just outrun, outchase, outstealth and outloop survivors without any real consequences. The weird part of it is that, at the same time...he's a weak killer, which makes it annoying for both sides of the equation.

Survivors don't have a counterplay, they wait to get hit and then stroll away and hold M1 for 30 seconds because Legion has pinballed off to another person. There's no real threat, the only fun part of the game (the chase) is completely taken off the table in 99% of interactions and Legion winds up being more of an annoyance than a fear, like a gigantic mosquito.

With this games stupid frame rate and nearly constant stability issues when things interact with one another I'd like to see you do that on them or with spirit without scratch marks or blood.

I like the legion but they're the biggest joke to come to this game. The only thing about them that is op is being able to abuse Chase mechanics and vault pallets with no consequences. Nothing else about them is overpowered. They are or were slow and were punished for not using the power because of that but also punished for using it having to hit survivors 4-5 times without m1 or franks mixtape

@altruistic ALSO disabled with Frenzy, at least ears anyways. You can't hear survivor noises while using Frenzy.
