Refunds for the Legion DLC
For real, if these Legion changes go through, players should be given the option to refund the killer for auric cells at a minimum.
The killer element of this product will change substantially from what it was sold as from release and this should be considered to be a real case of misleading advertising to consumers.

No, you paid to play the game, and in its ToU I GUARANTEE there's a part that says "content is subject to change" which you agreed to.
There will not be refunds for changing variables on a part of the game, simply because some don't agree with it.
Beyond that, the changes are
A- Not as bad as people want them to be and
B- Not even SEEN how they work in a game, just on paper.
So how about we wait a few weeks and see how things shake up.

What kind of advertisement are you talking about?
The DLC description on Steam does not feature any misleading information.

That is not how refunds work. They could literally make Legion immobilized in a wheelchair without the ability to attack and you still couldn't request a refund for it.

Read your Terms of Use, then come back asking for a refund.

You played this DLC for several months, and now you think you're entitled to a full refund?

Time and time again the devs show they have no idea what they are doing and ruin a killer that already has terrible kill potential unless exploiting. How about you guys just fix the exploiting instead of making him useless? Do you guys understand how powerful survivors are, and how they dictate the pace of the game in red/purple ranks? I was totally down for a rework to make him less aids for players to go against, but a complete and utter gutting? R.I.P

And I want a refund for the world, which isnt anymore like I was born in.

Bwahahahaha refund, yeah right. You got a better shot at winning the lottery.

This content has been removed.

That's the risk you take when purchasing a DLC, Killers always will be nerfed and buffed most of the time.
It's why I'm so cautious of buying a new Killer and haven't since spirit.

Well you certainly dodged a bullet not wasting money on the Legion. And not because of the upcoming good changes.

How about you take your amazing brand new Aston Martin DBS in for a service and they give it back painted in your least favorite color with an engine from a 1992 Ford Escort.
you guys crack me up and are the exact reason software companies are allowed to operate at their own standards completely backwards from consumer protections allowed for other retail products
I bet you guys are the ones that argue price increases are good and deep system intrusion "anti-cheat" systems are a good thing.
I swear some of you guys are regular employee's of BHVR trolling as normal forum members.....
Now, outside of the above ass backwards thinking, Legion was not advertised to behave in a specific way and even with the changes, even if he was, it's still basically the same legion. Buffed to be a normal M1 killer.

@jackmadrox Ah, I wasn't here when Freddy happened. Just trying to put logic to people who want the world their way all the time.

*laughs in crybabies' tears*
chill the fork out. It's not even on the PTB yet. Most of the people complaining will only miss being able to down someone with no counterplay and feeling good about themselves.

Im not worried about the ToU, Statutory consumer rights in the EU always override any legal priority that these kind of agreements set out. Its the EULA that I would be more concerned with as the DLC is a digital product which would more than likely protect BHVR.
Regardless, a full financial refund for the whole DLC would not happen, that is why I was initially suggesting an Auric refund for the Killer element of the DLC.

That's why you don't buy a DLC. I only brought killers after they've been 'balanced' or if they got good perks or fun.
Only DLC I brought are:
Spirit (Fun/OP)
Hag (Fun/OP and really good)
Clown (Perks)

You've got to be kidding me, so because you don't like the changes you're asking if you can refund the DLC?
I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion. But you wanna know what mine is?
I think you should just wait and see, because you don't really know what you're talking about until you've tested it.

Don't buy killers with real money anymore just use shards there are already a ton of reasons to not give them your money.

Yeah, I'm on side with this, I don't like say the TR or loss of frenzy on ONE missed attack HOWEVER I do like the boosted base movement speed and the fact that it does stomp out multi stab cheese moonwalk legions so I'd rather wait it out and see how it all comes together INGAME than to cry now and say burn it all. Devs have just SUGGESTED changes, there will be a PTB and they are looking for feedback, getting sick of all this outrage on just a mention of the changes.

These inevitable "improvements" are going to happen and with the track record the devs have, I'm surprised people still buy chapters with cash.
I was going to support the game by buying the new Hag costume because of the DS changes... then MoM came out.
No cosmetic for me.
Start buying DLC with shards.
Stop buying chapter DLCs for cash/Cells.
The devs don't act on feedback, they "listen" then do whatever they were going to do in the first place.
Unfortunately, in the ToS they specifically say you can't get a refund in the event something in the game changes.

The way the company has handled several things lately just made a single portion of the Legion change the last straw. When I had enough of how the Overwatch team was handling that game, I stopped spending money on it over a year ago. Did I still play it? Yes. But I no longer spent money on it.
Behavior has reached that point with me. I can't see myself spending future money on their DLCs. And I don't even care what perks they have. I play casually so already work-around the perks I don't have unlocked. I can continue to do so.
But like with the other game, I no longer have enough confidence in this team to invest additional money into the product. Which is a damned shame.
