legion was not in need of any nerfs. as the current 2nd worst killer in the game he is in the need of some serious buffs instead.
please note that he is in need of a power rework, not a nerf. he was also not broken, he was poorly designed.

It will be on the PTB first. If it is necessary, they could always be changed. It's worth noting a few things, though:
- Although the speed is lower, Feral Frenzy is longer. Overall, you'll be able to much much further than you could before which will make it easier to hit multiple survivors.
- Using Feral Frenzy against an already injured Survivor wouldn't be a good idea in the first place, since all it would accomplish is applying Deep Wounds to them.
- If you miss an attack, your power will not be depleted, it will only cancel. For example, if you have 75% of your charge left, you will start recharging from that point. It does not go back down to zero just because you missed.

Thanks for the clarity, we could have used that several hours ago and this mess wouldn't be as bad. Doesn't make this feel any better mentally, but massive change never does.

First. Attacks on Feral Frenzy will no longer down survivors affected by deep wound status effect, so changing the movement speed is unnecessary. Instead you guys should increase the ms on Feral Frenzy, so the Legion could be a good mobile killer.
Second. As I said before using Feral Frenzy would be a good idea to traverse the map and punish the people who doesn't heal against them, (Makes the bloodhound perk more useful to use.)
Third. This penalty is imo still too harsh.

DS, the strongest perk of all times got nerfed and is still very strong.
At the same time a new perk was introduced which is as strong as DS, DS got buffed again, vaulting for survivors got heavily buffed, loops which shouldnt exist, got readded, infinites exist again, killers are experiencing game breaking bugs (longer stun times, buggy animations, action cancels, ghost hits etc. etc. etc.), bbq got nerfed to a useless state, thana got nerfed, killers can't hit survivors while they are getting unhooked resulting in a speed boost for the unhooked survivor + an ignored hit, killers can't pip properly, killers are getting points reduced for being near hooks, borrowed time (deep wound) got buffed, killer buffs were shadow reverted and bugs are there again, which were fixed a long time ago, additionally maps were made survivor friendlier (the game, haddonfield etc), legion got nerfed right after release and now again... and so on.
So please just be quiet, entitled survivor main.
People like you make the game a even shittier place than it is right now.
So basically only survivors became buff after buff for their already overpowered powerrole, and still you guys don't have enough.
I diagnose "git gud" heavily.

It has one condition: the survivor must be hit three times, with the third hit putting them in the dying state. That's it. It punishes killers for succeeding at catching survivors, like all second chance perks.

I dont own legion and now probably never will but what irks me the most is that frenzy will apparently do nothing on already DW'd survivors, turning it into some sort of tagging crap like freddy's M2.
Doesnt even matter if you tag and forget an survivor, DW will be super safe for survivors now.
I said it when spirit got released but killers should NEVER lose any of the basic tracking stuff, be it scratchmarks, blood, auras or ######### visible survivors.

I am not. But every Legion-Thread is garbage, as long as nobody tested Legion on the Live Server. The PTB would give some information, but Live Server is always better for that.

Quick question why was ds left as is for two years in a broken state instead of being nerfed to uselessness immediatly wjen it became a problem? Yet legion is instantly getting gutted after a few months on? Worst part is ds rework actually worked out and to this day is reducing the immediate rehooking after getting farmed. You dont even need it equiped killers are so frightenend to deal with it.
Its such crap how killers like freddy and legion get nerfed to unplayability but survivour perks are allowed to remain broken until a proper rework comes along that fixes the perk. Sure the legion change might be reverted but based off of history ie freddy i expect them to keep the changes and legion will likely be left to rot like freddy for 2 years.
Anyone with a brain knows that legion has no power beyond getting maybe an easier first hit. He is a belless wraith, a trapless trapper and 115 ms is only a basic advantage. Give his power a bambozle like effect and give him collision so if you try to block a pallet or window survivours don't just vault though you. He has lost 75% of his tools and exchange got an ms increase that is not enough to make him viable not competitve just viable.

Still bad changes. People who play Legion want to chase people down stabbing them multiple times, something like in a frenzy. This new change does not fit the fantasy you are providing to them. Instead, they will hit the Survivor once, chase them with frenzy, cancel their power, then M1 them. They won't go hit other survivors, they won't risk stunning themselves needless with an unreliable power or dealing with Dead by Daylight's glorious hit priority and hit the wrong target in a cluster of survivors. Lets go one further. What is to stop a survivor who has been hit by Feral Frenzy from just body blocking the Legion in an alley way to prevent him from reaching his teammates? Nothing. That is how badly designed these changes are.

If the devs don't want people to tunnel then Unhooking should cause healthy survivors to lose a health state and give the Healthy status to the unhooked. Every design of any perks that has come out to help with "tunneling" is to create traps that the killer does not know about going into the situation. They can't make the choice to not tunnel on an educated basis so they go for the one that is percieved to be the easier down. What needs to be done instead is to make the Unhooker the easier down to encourage the killer to switch.

It doesn't matter if those changes are live or not.
Solely the fact that they consider that proves how little they know about their own game.
Maybe they should take a complete break from development for 2 weeks and spend the time actually playing their game and get to Rank 1. I'm sure this would help them to understand the core issues.
Until then... This will never change.

Agreed. We don't need more pointless development done going in the wrong direction. We need focused developers who know their game and what it needs on a mechanical, audio, and visual level. Right now we keep missing all three.

I think a missed attack should be punished with a momentary slowdown, as that would be sufficient punishment to allow survivors to make some distance and still give the legion player a chance to get that elusive feral frenzy hit.
Total loss on a missed attack while also being slowed down so much? Doesn't make much sense.
I also agree they shouldn't have removed the ability to see pools of blood during frenzy. Doesn't make much sense.
Also the new vault speed is cripplingly slow - I feel that a middle ground would be great, at the very least.

It doesnt matter if FF takes longer. First it's still not enough to reach everyone over the map. I need Legions +duration addons to have a good amount of time to reach someone on the over side of the map. Where we have another problem: until i reached someone and then another one, the first ones finished mending so it would be very helpful if mending would take ~4 seconds longer.
And now the movementspeed.... @Peanits why you nerfed his vaulting *and* his movement speed in FF? I had a couple of matches where someone (not in DW) dropped a pallet and looped me until FF was over.. just because Im super slow in everything. And on top of that it feels super unsatisfying, like a handycap or like a muzzle.
I think if you give Legion 1-2 seconds more duration time while in FF and/or instead of his current ms in the live-build + a few seconds more mending time he could be pretty fine.
And his status effect addons have to be changed into "when he puts you into the deep wound".
At last but not least I have one question. When I cannot decrease someones Deep Wound timer, why I cant hit them to refill my FF? I mean i wont damage him but I could use him to refill my ability and track the other guys. That would be so cool.

Actually, your power bar will be depleted when missing an attack it's not just cancelled. I tried the new Legion yesterday also in private matches and missed a few attacks. My whole power bar was gone. When you cancel it intentionally then it's not gone, but after missing an attack it's gone. I guess it's a bug
