My thoughts on the Legion changes
So, to preface, I'll fully admit I hate moonwalk cheese, and honestly on the occasion I play Legion I'll only ever do it if the Survivor's abusing a busted map. I do like Legion's design, and the feeling of going fast and stabbing a bunch of people was quite enjoyable. I was very interested in the Legion update, partially to see if they would maybe solidify Legion's role a bit better, since playing Legion as an M1 killer was atrocious.
What I got was Legion becoming M1 McGee, a Borrowed Time buff, and a serious regret for getting their cosmetics.
Firstly, I want to know about the addons, because although I don't think killers should be garbage without addons, I feel that knowing how much or how little the addons are going to help shaping their power would be a very vital piece of information. In fact, thanks to the complete lack of information on this element I'm essentially forced to go the notes without them in mind, though if this gets read: Please at least tell me whether the Speed addons will be worthwhile now, 'cause on live they don't have a noticeable effect.
I would like to ask why the ability to see blood in Frenzy is being removed if there's no more moonwalking cheese or multi-stab downs? Legion already struggles tremendously with perk variety since Exposed perks don't work because their first hit is going to be in Frenzy ~80% of the time. The fact that Mending doesn't count as healing makes Anti-Healing perks and Nurse's Calling mediocre at best. Now Bloodhound is being removed the list of perks that are alright on Legion. Am I supposed to play them with a generic Ruin/End/Fury/Bamboozle build now? 'Cause I don't see a lot of other options aside from a gimmicky Slug Build, but you still have to deal with loops to get that ball rolling, and unlike Myers or Freddy, their power doesn't really synergize with a slugging build.
Finally I end with the question of what does Legion's power even *do*?
As a chasing ability it's useless. You can no longer decrease the Deep Wounds gauge with Feral Frenzy, meaning it has 0 value at dealing with loops. OK, what about using it as a way to catch up? Only if you want to eat a mandatory stun, effectively removing the distance you just gained. OK, so Legion has 0 power against loops after the first hit, which is usually the easiest to get regardless in my experience.
What about Stalling? Deep Wounds appears to be a stalling mechanic, right? Ehhhhhh... not really. Unfortunately, it's so quick to mend that it's usually 80% healed up by the time you even hit another Survivor with it with the current higher speed Frenzy, and with the TR changes to Deep Wound they can just work on a gen until you're far enough away. before just casually mending up and continuing on their way. It's really more of a shallow papercut than a deep wound IMO.
The fact that they're reducing speed alone is enough of a hard-confirmation for me that it's not going to be a mobility power. On a side note, why is the speed being reduced? It really hurts the high-mobility playstyle that made Legion appealing on a more casual level. With the other nerfs I don't think it needed a decrease regardless of the buff to duration.
So it's not a proper chasing power, it's got effectively 0 stall, and it's not a really good mobility tool. The lack of those makes the built-in tracking pretty much pointless since if you hit someone with Feral Frenzy, chances are you're going to just end up committing to the chase.
So... what's the point of Legion now? Every other killer in the game has a distinct Niche that they can abuse to become quite dangerous, even Freddy with his stall and tracking or Clown with his Area Denial and Anti-loop. Legion? They just sorta exist now, in a limbo of having no niche to excel in without even achieving a Jack of All Trades status.
Sorry if this comes across as complaining, I am interested in testing it on the PTB but I just don't understand the direction of Legion with this update, and would like some clarification as to the point of using Feral Frenzy for anything other than the first hit of any given chase.
(Also, after Plague and these changes, I'm not particularly confident in the Freddy rework >_>)

I really agree! They've gone and gutted all of the Legion's best features, and I honestly found him one of the only really fun killers to play. Like, you can win with the other killers, whatever, but they aren't actually fun to play. I loved that the Legion could sprint, and I loved the smaller terror radius that made it easier to sneak up on people, since the whole point is that he looks like a survivor and can do things a survivor can do.
I really don't understand why they bothered?

The Devs want to be sure legion would not be problem ever again

Yeah I don't get it either, even his vaulting is going to be useless since he can't damage dw timer in frenzy, it's like they forgot how legion even worked in the first place or never bothered playing him.

People mainly complain about Moonwalking, there was no need to absolutely destroyed his power, this would only prompt killers to go back to playing Nurse/ Billy
New Legion would not be viable at High rank and will get bullied with loops
