Confused about Legion changes

I'm very glad that something is being done about this killer, as right now it is by far the most boring to go up against, and is also very frustrating to do so due to the lack of counter play available. However i don't really understand the changes as they have made his power so incredibly boring to play with, i don't see why anyone will ever play him.

Deep wound in now completely pointless, as you can't chip away at it with feral frenzy, and due to it not going down if you're in the terror radius, i don't think it's even possible for anyone to bleed out anymore.

Due to the longer duration of feral frenzy, the Legion will essentially be able to injure everyone early on, and then have to chase everyone like a normal killer, with no ability. He pretty much sacrifices having a power to be able to start to give everyone no mither. I'm a bit confused as how this change is gonna do anything other than nerf him, whilst keeping him just as boring to play as and against

You dont know what the Add-Ons will do. They said that Add-Ons are rebalanced and that REGULAR Frenzy attacks will not let the meter go down. So it can be assumed that some of the Add-Ons will still have this ability.

Just wait until he is out on PTB to see the full changes.

But then we will have another killer who is far too dependent on their addons, something which im beginning to get very fed up with after the so called 'trapper and wraith buffs'

We can only see what will be fully implemented. In due time, some things may be added, some may not. The devs are taking feedback as of now and will use what they deem as acceptable towards Legion. We can only sit and wait for now until the PTB comes out.

I mean getting an easy first hit on multiple people (if the duration changes are as good as it sounds) willtotally be much more worth it now, since they can end chases faster with normal Ms.

Survivors need to heal on top of the mend, which actually puts a little more pressure than the plagues sickness status. (Wow they're really similar now lol)

Legion sounds like how Freddy was intended to be in function. It'll be interesting to test first hand tho.

I guess your point isn't half bad, but don't you think it will be very dull, as his power just keeps you injured and forces you to hold M1 whilst you mend

@No_Cluie_Louis The devs don't care about how annoying holding M1 is. All the Legion rework was intended to do was fix the exploits and force Legion players to use Feral Frenzy to weaken survivors before going in with 4.6m/s for the kill.

Legion's real strength is just stalling. They're now a M1 killer who's power is to let them stall the game, giving them time to M1.

Yeh. I just think it's a shame that we have another killer that no one will play due to the boring playstyle of M1 plays

Legion is no longer anti loop, How he'll be played now is use his power to get the first hit and maybe switch targets if somebody else is around.

After that first hit any use of the power wont help you because of the stun and the deep wound timer wont be depleted with another hit so it becomes pointless and You will have to chase them down like other M1 killers like wraith.

He'll be a lot easier to deal with as survivors and probably a lot more frustrating to play as since there's a lot of times were you'll be giving yourself a stun whether by missing an attack in frenzy, running out of it or leaving it after the first hit.
