End game hatch

I get that for too long the hatch has been survivor sided, and it was so boring to play around on either side. However, i don't see how survivors stand a chance with this new mechanic, unless they find the hatch first, in which case there was no fun for either side. The only way to have fun would be to have some interesting strategic plays, like in all the other phases of the game, but the only way for that to happen is if the killer finds the hatch first and closes it, in which case there is no chance the survivor can get the gates open in 3 minutes with the killer patrolling them.
