NOED needs a little rework.
If the killer closes the hatch, THAT activates and things go ridiculous for survivors. It needs a rework, so if the killer closes the hatch, NOED does NOT activate. Otherwise it's fine when it activates when 5 gens are complete, but if the hatch is closed and NOED activates, that's far too unfair on the last survivor, because they have basically no chance.

They mentioned that NOED will not get touched since thereโs always a chance to remove it with totems.
However, it is going to be hell in the end games. I personally, as a solo player, do not want to even begin to experience that.

On second thoughts, Adrenaline wouldn't do much @Ihatelife since the sprint burst is useless and if the killer closes the hatch, It's likely they're not chasing you.

I don't know if this will help or hinder any side tbh.
If you are the last survivor and the killer finds you, you will most probably die, whether you get downed in 1 hit or 2 hit is kind of pointless tbh.

But if the killer has closed the hatch and the surv didn't manage to open an exit gate before they get found, it's Game Over anyway? What difference does NOED make in that situation?

Survivors don't deserve a free escape anyway. If a killer happens to be using NOED and they're good enough to kill 3 survivors before the last gen is completed, why shouldn't they be allowed to use the fourth perk that they've been missing the entire game? NOED is fine.
Edit : what @Delfador is exactly correct. What difference does it make if you're the last survivor left alive. Either open the gate and get out, or die.

Survivors shouldnโt deserve a free escape but what about solo players who play with complete randoms?
They still even havenโt addressed the DC issue as well so survivors can still DC and you end up losing due your teammates either playing poorly or not trying, or even just trying to โbullyโ killer.
Every match Iโve had with those who try to bully killer trying to be those wannabe (not naming that YouTuber) ends up dcing or killing themselves on hook.
That would be quite frustrating.

@Poweas I understand your side of the situation, but for me it's the other way. Once the gates are powered, I want the survivors either downed and hooked, or getting the hell out of the trial so I can move on to the next match.
For me, NOED is great. Otherwise, they need to destroy my totem.

How does a perk that can be deactivated before it's beneficial to the killer at all, need any sort of rework? If a survivor gets downed with NOED, it's not the killer who played a poor game, it's the survivors for not cleansing totems.

Does'nt matter, Noed will not activate during endgame if the totems got cleansed. No excuses anymore, just cleanse them.

@AlexAnarchy Obviously your persistent ๐ค, I respect that so I'll break it down for you. If my team gets snowballed by a Billy at 5 gens in the first 2 minutes, but I unbreakable, stealth and heal up, is it fair if I get NOED to my face when my team are potatoes? I can't 'cleanse totems' because I have no chance to thanks to a potato team. So therefore, I lose because Billy is fast and he has NOED.

Has'nt this been the same argument used to say How Noed is bad for the game even before this endgame collapse came of mention?
Most survivors are potatoes, that's why they always argue about Noed, cuz they ca'nt stand not finishing a round in under 3 minutes and then they expect to not get punished for it.
That's been the issue, survivors refuse to adapt and as long as they refuse to adapt, NOED is gonna get em everytime they don't do totems.
The devs have also Said Noed is fine the way it is now as survivors can prevent it from happening, it's a risk but sadly it's an easy risk for killers cuz survivors refuse too play any other way than the current meta.

@Poweas I see what you're saying, but it also isn't fair that the killer get NOED changed simply because your teammates are potatoes. Hey, whether in DbD survivors or any other team-based PvP game, when you solo or random queue, you play the RNG on teammates. And sometimes, they are simply worse than A.I. bots.
Hell, many times in Overwatch I've had the game of my night or week, and still lost due to potato teammates. And lost rank SR because of it. And in that game, a single loss will strip enough SR that you generally need 3-4 wins just to get back to where you were. So imagine a couple games like that in a row.
At least here, a single loss can be regained or exceeded with a single win.
But it happens. It's the chance we all take with randoms.

@AlexAnarchy I never normally complain about NOED, I'm lazy as hell, and I never clean totems, so I accept the NOED to the face as survivor. I always have. Just that this endgame collapse is going to cause more than a few problems.

So overdramatic. You practically lost already by this point BUT you still have a chance to leave out the gates. Or while the killer keeps checking each gate you could go venture for the totem you didnโt bother cleansing to begin with.

I dont think the new endgame will change anything.
let's be real, if the killer manage to kill your team before the last gen is powered then he deserve to win. Anyway the last survivor still has a slim (like it should be) chance to survive.

@Poweas I understand that. As much as I hate SWF as a killer, it's a necessary evil sometimes.
But you know what? I'll be honest. Being a killer playing against a voice comm SWF in DbD is really no different than when I random queue in Overwatch, and have a team that won't even enter the voice channel while going up against a team that is obviously voicing and coordinating. The disadvantage you're suffering is crystal clear early on.

The only thing this literally changes is you have a time limit...Nothing else really... if your trying too somehow say a time limit makes Noed an issue then your just using it as an excuse to try for a Noed nerf...Noed is not changing and how it works is not changing, The only thing endgame changes is you ca'nt just hold the game from ending anymore.

Once hatch is closed, the exit gates are powered. NOED procs when exit gates are powered.

I don't see a point in that really. If you get found in such situation you are dead either way since 1 or 2 hits don't matter as long as killer can follow you.
I'd say bitter murmur is far more unfair if it works with closing the hatch as well. But people just love to just complain about noed to get it nerfed just out of principle.

After all, said survivor is already getting at least a chance of escaping after doing zero objectives.
And there are still 2 gates which can be opened.

@AlexAnarchy in the event of the gates being powered by the hatch closing mechanic the game likely wouldn't have been going on for as long. That means that if you quickly Kill the first 3 survivors then the 4th simply won't have had enough time to cleanse the totems. When survivors have the chance to gen rush this isn't an issue but this one case is a bit different.
Not necessarily enough to cause serious nerfs mind you. But that's the argument. It would be easy to just reword it to only not activate in that one situation and be identical otherwise.

Noed- activates upon exit gates being powered, Two things make this happen with new endgame, Survivors finish gens, or killer closes hatch with last survivor up, Last survivor can still open a gate , Why do you and others keep posting like NOED is active all game?
the last survivor has a chance too find the hatch first which normally they already are there at it, if the survivor cannot get the hatch first in the first place they still have a chance, why do survivors need 1 million chances at everything?
Ca'nt cleanse totems? then ca'nt find the hatch? Then ca'nt open a gate? How many more chances do you need?!
At this point, the post is just about being entitled to win now..
