just because i’m the last survivor and i haven’t found hatch doesn’t mean i’m playing hide and seek
in light of the new endgame collapse with people saying the last survivor just plays hide and seek instead of going to hatch, F all of you. just because you haven’t found me yet or i haven’t found hatch doesn’t mean that i’m playing hide and seek. i’m not going to spring around the map trying to find it only for you to find me and kill me. not all games are meant for 4 kills, and if you want the 4k then kill us all at 4 or 5 gens, or just git gud. i’m not trolling you and hiding, i’m just trying to be stealthy and find hatch without you catching me. if stealth is going to get killed in this game then idk where it’s going to go in the future.

I have literally carried survivors to the hatch just to let them escape. Dial down the salt.

The issue is, when it's been 20 minutes later and the survivor is still supposedly looking for the hatch..

I have a horrible headset so unless I'm very close and it's a mp without extra ambient noise it can take me awhile. I've had killers spend 20 minutes looking for the hatch as well and they had a hard time finding it too.
There's also the rare bug where it just doesn't spawn and both myself and the killer would go all over the map together to make sure. If they'd remove the ambient overlap when the hatch is open it'd speed things up.

I am so sorry but some other survivors do that and try to take the game hostage even if they have a chance to escape. You have to take responsibility for other people's ######### behavior as well, that's how it works.
It might seem like I am favoring killers here but I really am not, anybody who regularly uses this forum can say that I am a survivor main myself.
The exact same thing happened to the legion as well. Deep wound timer is not going down when you are in the killer's terror radius as well as when you are mending yourself, and I am pretty sure the devs will not change these new changes.
The reason? Some legions avoided chases to force the survivor to mend herself and downed them. Other legions, now, have to endure the consequences of these legions who 'exploited' chase mechanics.
Again, that's how it works.

Cuz it's absolutely on the control of the killer to do a 4k with 5 gens? There is no "git gud", this happens only when survivors fail.
Furthermore, I always sprint around the map to find the hatch. Either I get or not. No need to waste multiple minutes crouching in the corner just to get a few poi to for boring gameplay.
Anyway, Endgame collapse will fix this stupid mentality.

That's not at all what this post is about. The problem is the killer assuming the worst and it's all about them as usual, throwing salt and toxic comments after game at the player who is playing the game.

You'll be happy to know that you'll be able to earn 0 BP in the upcoming patch and get the opportunity for a hatch escape at 0 gens done, provided you are the last survivor. If you fail at that endeavor, you'll be rewarded with two other escape options at 0 gens done (the gates).

If they haven't got more than a gen or two done, you kind of DO deserve the 4k.
If they mange to get 3 more done without getting caught, not so much. But if you've done your job, stopped gens, and killed 3 people, why should the 4th just GET to escape because the killer "doesn't deserve it".

Are we 100% on that? They said you can start the endgame by EITHER opening a gate, or closing the hatch, not that 5 gens starts endgame and opens hatch. The only way they influence each other is if closing the hatch makes endgame begin (meaning the gates aren't open, or endgame would have started) or opening a gate as killer to start endgame. They never said that opening a gate as killer would open the hatch.
They also said that the hatch would spawn if you're the last alive, no matter what.
So unless 5 gens are done and you're the last alive, I don't see how the hatch would just open at 5 gens. I don't think they said that it just opens now.
I can't imagine in a time where killers say the hatch is a free escape, that they would OPEN a free escape when gens are done, when you have to fully open a gate.

You act like many people will purposefully do nothing so they can hopefully get hatch. You'll get next to no BP and you will undoubtedly depip doing this.

Does everyone here forget the hatch standoff? You know, one of the most annoying aspects of the game.
Yes I can end it whenever, but so can they and I'm not giving out free wins. Closing the hatch removes the standoff and solves this problematic scenario.

So the killer can down me in 1 or 2 hits or is a Billy/Nurse and it's a wide open map and i should should blindly run down the middle for you. Yeah talk about that sense of entitlement for an easy 4k.
Oh and you completely ignored where i talked about killers not being able to find it either or it being bugged.
