Leatherface panic effect idea

So I talk about Leatherface a lot on these forums lol ( but only because I care ) but in one of my earlier posts I mention a panic effect possibility. I would like to detail my idea here so that the devs may see this and tweak it where necessary if they choose to make this a feature for LF.

So basically the idea behind this is to make LF more consistent, and maybe even scarier at close range because he has no way to close the distance on survivors ( such as billy's chainsaw sprint and nurse blink ).
The way it would work is that when you are within a certain range of Leatherface and he is revving the saw, a meter builds up ( similar to doctor madness ) and when it is full, the survivor will scream and start to lose control of the movement of their character a bit.
This in theory would also help LF with looping because if he revvs the saw around a loop and the survivor loses control, they may not be able to loop effectively against him.

Let me be clear though that I would first prefer LF to get his movement speed increased whilst he is revving the saw ( making this panic idea more effective ), and his acceleration to get a big buff to the speed it gives LF.

The intent behind this is to make LF a more powerful close range killer, again because he has no way to close the distance other than running, and it would hopefully instill more fear in a survivor that is being chased by Leatherface and really solidify him as the close range punisher he is clearly MEANT to be.

Thanks for reading and of course feedback is greatly appreciated!

Instead of losing control of movement, how about just losing control of the camera? Either it's stuck looking forward, or it's stuck looking back; whichever is more balanced.

I actually like the idea of the camera being forced back for a few seconds, that would practically make the survivors blindly try to find a pallet
