How exactly are we supposed to max out the Survival category in BP?
Because we only get 5k from escaping and barely a few more from self healing which doesn't always happen... And I can't remember if jumping by yourself off the hook gives u 1.5k in survival or not... but still it doesn't seem that fair

Jumping off the Hook gives you 1500 points in Survival, yes. Only really useful with Delivarence tho and even then it is better to be off the Hook and healed.
A few actions also give BPs, like Mending, Snap Out and Wake Up, but only 100 or 200 BP per action. Wiggling free also gives you 500 BP, same for stunning the Killer with DS or Head On.
So yeah, other than the 5k points from Escaping, it is difficult to get Survival points. Therefore the cap of 8k per category should be removed so that 32k BP is the maximum. I mean, just work on 2 Gens with another person and you have Objectives Max I think, so everything else doing for that will not give you any points at all... While, when you escape, you have 3k Survival Points spare, most likely.

I don't think they ever expected you to max it out. You should understand the previous rank system for survivors was based on Blood Points, and that rank progress capped at 5000 points per category. The 8000 point cap is just to allow for a bit of extra BP overflow. The survival category is a basic success/failure category. Either you lived and got 5000 points, or you didn't. While there's a few odds and ends that add to that category, they're not really actions you're expected to max out the category by performing.

It's just not fair tbh... Killer have such an easy time to get points where as survivors can be easily limited at how much you're getting.. Meaning that if u for example are chased a lot by the killer/ tunneled u don't get to obtain that many points in either objective or altruism (and probably not even survival)
