confused about the surprise
@not_Queen you said the surprise was something we've never seen before in another thread. Does that mean these cosmetics aren't the surprise or what? Whats going on here?🤔

The surprise is the new mechanics of showing off the cosmetics before the data miners do.

I mean the cosmetics are cool. They are. They always do a great job with those.
The price of them is a bit over the top. They just are. Always have been.
This being the surprise is underwhelming.
Literally the surprise was 10.00 DLC clothing packs. And who wants to pay that for nerfed/underwhelming killers?

I wouldn’t say it’s overwhelming, the community hyped up the surprise with having high expectations. There has been people suggesting cosmetics since the beginning.

Are you serious?! this is the surprise here I was thinking the dead by daylight team was actually going to give back to the community that got them where they are now. but no just an expensive cash grab not to mention I see a cosmetic for legion like ######### is the point in that when he's being nerfed to oblivion this development team is a joke.
fix infinite loading screen already would have been nice if that was prioritised over this so called "surprise".

Hopefully next time they call it a cosmetic reveal and not a Surprise or Something we've never seen before that made it seem like a much bigger deal and made people loose their minds 😂

It is logical that BHVR wants to show the Cosmetics by themselves. Also good that they are doing it.
But I would not have labelled it as "Surprise" or anything like that. Expectations were much higher than a Cosmetic Reveal.

@not_Queen So this was the surprise? Wow. One would think you'd have other priorities when players DC all over the place, loading screens that never end, people crashing mid-loading screens and games where you only have 1-3 survivors loading in.
But good on you. More cosmetics. Yay.

Not buying any of these disgusting overpriced DIGITAL items. shameful that this is what's being prioritised over the infinite loading screen wish people would stop splashing there cash at this ridiculous money grab scheme so that it would push the developers in fixing and optimising the game not to mention the game needs a whole new gore update to bring this horror game to optimal standards.

@se05239 There is no correlation between devs who make cosmetics and devs who work on code. Do you really think they ought to focus their artists on bugs? Does that even make sense to you?

They've decided that they want to oFFicially reveal upcoming cosmetics instead of doing the usual, which is putting them in the files with a patch and the community reveals them. Pretty lame for a surprise in my opinion though but it is what it is.
