@Angelicus23 it was a good horror film, but.....legion = ghost face....running around, stabbing....i think if they got the costume for someone that would be all we need.

Ghost face would be cool but they'd have to do something interesting with his power. I Hope it wont have anything to do with phone calls, that'd be stupid. Maybe Aura reading of survivors and phasing to lockers to jump out?

His power is phone calls and sleeping with virgins....well one of them was....i feel people don't need ghost face, just his costume....is like trapper is just Jason......

Not a big fan of "culture Killers" tbh. I'm not huge into lore, but I do appreciate that aspect of a Killer. Licensed Killers are too pigeon holed, no cosmetics, no imagination.
It's Ghost Face....guess what...it's Meyers with a new skin (pretty sure a big knife was the weapon of choice; Buck 120).
I like legends, I like creativity...I mean, if your going to do a licensed Killer, why not Hellraiser (Pinhead)?
My favorite Killer is Huntress...I mained Billy until she came along. I really enjoyed Billy, but as one of the original 3 wise men, it was an obvious nod to Leatherface.

I'm a bit astonished at the amount of bitterness towards a possible Scream chapter in this thread... We've gone 4 chapters and 1 licensed paragraph without a full on licensed chapter and people are upset over that?
"But my cosmetics..." Ash proves that licensed cosmetics are possible. Especially for Ghostface, it's a mantle not a sole person so multiple cosmetic options make a ton of sense.
"But Legion is Ghostface!" And Billy is Leatherface and we have both ingame. Your point?
"His power will be the same as Legion's!" I know the Devs have pulled some fast ones before but they won't sell us the same chapter twice. Ghostface's power will be unique and I'm surprised you're all doubting that. Leatherface and Billy both use chainsaws yet they use them completely differently.
Plus, the map potential for a Scream chapter is quite exciting! Woodsboro High School maybe? If anything, just wait and see what the Devs have planned.

@Mushwin Well, the reason is that my mom has never been a fan of the horror genre, so we just weren't exposed to any of those older horror films. I didn't even watch the original Halloween movie until just last year in October. I still haven't seen Nightmare on Elm St. I watched a Chainsaw Massacre reboot on Netflix, which was pretty bad. I haven't seen The Shining or Psycho, or any of those more popular horror films. I think I've seen Friday the 13th Chapter 3 or 4. Can't remember which one it was.
I have seen the Original Trilogy of Star Wars, however.

Ghostface is NOT Myers nor the other way around. Literally the only thing they have in common is a shared affinity for butcher knives and that Randy was almost killed watching Halloween.
Ghostface is arguably more brutal (and definitely more hot blooded) than Michael. Michael is ruthless and otherworldly whereas Ghostface directly highlights the malice and bloodthirst of people. Ghostface is also a rather unique commentary on the American idealism of mass murder.

Personally not a fan of the franchise or character but hell, enough people in the community are. I see no issue with getting Ghostface, even if he is another stabby character. I would be interesting to see what they would do with him/her/them

@Mushwin I don't typically get scared from horror movies, but I do get grossed out if it's bad enough. i.e. Evil Dead reboot when the girl licked the box cutter, or in Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2006) when Leatherface gutted that guy's arms, or when they showed that the girl had her teeth ripped out.

You could do a lot of things with Ghostface.
Remember a BIG part of the movies is that Ghostface is somebody Sidney either knew, loved, or trusted.
You could do something with Ghostface being a famously double role.
Ghostface could also join the ranks of Doc and Freddy and Michael and be really strong with tracking and aura reading. Because Ghostface always plays and stalks the victims.

I honestly never see how Ghostface and Legion are even close to being similar. If anything, Myers is more similar to Ghostface (not only due to looks), because they both fit the "taunt from distance, get closer and attack". Legion is all about being impulsive and having a frenzy (despite what the rework is trying to do).

@Mushwin I've only ever gotten frightened from paranormal stuff once, and that was The Conjuring 2 when Lorraine looked in the mirror and the demon nun or whatever is was appeared.

@Angelicus23 i watched all 4.....all i see is a killer, running around stabbing people, all from school....well not Billy's mum...hm her brother? must of been to a directer.....still how is this different to the legion? i am disliking the idea as it's already been done, people want his cosmetics....same as Jason the devs have done it

But whats Ghostface's most iconic feature? Saying "Do you like scary movies?" on the phone, flashing their presence around the house at night and making their victim feel nervous before attacking. Thats more or less the same of what Myers does.
As for the multiple people thing, maybe. But only if Legion was what we were all expecting when they first teased them; a Killer with multiple personalities. Legion is a gang. Ghostface is multiple people trying to be the same person. Thats entirely different.

@Mushwin and @Saint_Ukraine from an old school horror fan, please let me recommend that you both try watching the original Omen, Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Black Christmas and Suspiria. All amazing horror films that properly built tension and terror without the need of cheap effects and over use of gore. Do not judge them on today's standards. Just enjoy them for them for what they were.
On topic, I do not see Legion as Ghost Face. The only similarity was multiple people behind the mask, but even that is a bit of a reach as the lore is not even remotely the same beyond that one simple fact. I see no harm in bringing in a licensed killer that is beloved by so many people. It only helps promote the game more. If you do not want to play the character, do not buy the character.

@PigNRun actually no....they were killers for glory and blamed horror films etc.....Besides Myers never used the phone, a big partial thing in Scream and changing their voices....they had a plan, Myers had a design.....difference.....what can ghost face do what legion cant? walk arounf and stab people?
