Honestly it's probably their connection to you if you're playing killer. Sometimes you get people across the world or people using VPN's . In all of the time I've played both as killer and survivor I don't think I've seen more than maybe like 1 or 2 legit "speed hacking".

Most are simply playing with bad connections since i've gotten whacked by killers that appear out of nowhere even though they're not cloaked and just hooked someone on other side of map. You can usually see the persons ping and mine occasionally spikes due to the hosts location and if it gets too high I simply leave because it's not fair to anyone else if I stay.

Really? Running normally, and when I'm about to hit them they RUN FASTER THAN BILLY (literally, without lags) and then tbag me from afar? I know how lags look, and they were obviously a speedhackers.

What rank are you at? I'm surprised at all the report of hacking players...

For hackers abusing F2P weekend, they must be mostly concentrated at Rank 20.

And I'm on R20, as high ranks are hell for killers.
Btw it looked exactly like this -
With the exception, that "my" speedhackers were quicker.

I've seen about 1 speedhacker per 20 matches on average during this free weekend with my rank hovering around 17-20 as killer. ( trying to keep it low for farming :P )

Someone on Reddit posted something interesting.

To avoid a hacking Survivor, you just wait for the lobby timer to hit 0. Do not ready up.
EAC will kick them ~40 seconds into the timer.

You can thank the free to play weekend for them. I've encountered a ton as well.

They'll be gone in 1-2 days don't worry

They're only screwing themselves because they get their Steam acct flagged and if they get flagged enough Steam starts digging deeper since if you hack in 1 game you're probably doing it in others. They'll get acct banned it it's widespread enough and while accounts are free any game they had on that account paid for is toast.

Now granted quite a lot are possibly hacked accounts as well.
