Remember Me and Gate times nerfed?

I get the EGC, and I get the 3 minute thing once the gens are powered.

Remember Me stacks are reduced to 4 max, and 4 seconds per stack? 16 total added on seconds? That sucks.

And the gate timer is now 15 seconds instead of 20? That sucks too.

Before, if you hit the obsession 6 times you could get 30 seconds. With 20. 50 seconds to open if you're NOT the obsession.

That would be a bit extreme in the EGC now. I agree. They should keep the 4 seconds per hit, but make it stackable to 6 again. Or at least 5. Seriously.

Maxed out, it is 15+16. 31 seconds.

So we went from 50, to 31. That's a heavy nerf... really heavy.

    Yeah. I think they've really really screwed this up. Either keep the changes and reduce the EGC timer to 2 minutes from 3, or change them back and keep it at 3? I don't know. This is NOT balanced.

    I’m sorry you don’t get a free win with the new end game. Like someone else said it was added to make the end game not last as long.

    The perk was already pretty bad before and now it's just trash. Not only did they reduce the opening time, but if anything the time should have been increased. These balance changes make no sense at all.

    In my opinion they should rethink about these changes.

    The exit gate timer should drop to 15s and the OLD Remember me should use half of its stacks only if the killer chooses to close the hatch.

    Good to know that the killer can't even patrol gates effectively. And here I thought things might get interesting with a sense of pressure, nevermind I guess.

    @thatguyinktown nope. It won't. If somehow they're both on the hatch killer won.

    1. Close the Hatch
    2. Just chase that person around for 3 minutes or less

    No one is asking for a free win though. The fact that they made end game for Killers worse has a lot of people upset. Sure they'll end quicker, but that's only because Survivors have to leave and Killers can't really do anything about it, and Killers can't control the pace of the EGC in an effective, and positive, way for themselves. Unlike survivors.

    I don't think the responsible developers are active in the forums. The community managers surely know the reasoning behind those changes but that doesn't mean they support it.

    If I were them, I would also remain silent to avoid getting falsely targeted as someone that's responsible for those decisions. Can't really blame them for keeping it quiet.

    That's why you are losing. Try to suggest something like 10 seconds to open exit gates instead of 15, they will comment on it and say that they are gonna take that into consideration.

    Sarcasm aside, they are really silent for this update, a couple of devs would comment occasionally when there was a PTB before. They are just gonna remain silent it seems to me.

    Honestly, with how Endgame Collapse works they could have easily kept the current 20 second doors and wouldn't have needed to change Remember Me. I understand that they want people to still get out after the hatch is closed, but they couldn't just add a caveat to Remember Me saying that it deactivates if you close the hatch?

    I really don't understand why instead of making a logical change to Remember Me they decided to destroy Freddy's best teachable.

    It's so that the survivor has 2 chances to escape after failing the objective. Stupid I know but they seem to be all about multiple second chances lately.

    Last one alive, hatch spawns and you get a free escape for nothing no matter if theres generators done or not, You loose again and the killer beats you to the hatch don't worry because the exit gates get powered and you get another chance at escape and they've made it even easier with 15 seconds for the killer to try run from the hatch to each exit gate..... It's ridiculous.

    I am sure they are getting plenty of false data with survivors killing themselves to see the collapse visuals. The only thing these changes have done is hand us a stress free win. After gen 5 you have less than 20sec to worry about Noed and 3min to taunt.
