In game addon info
With the recent patch notes that show the specifics on the Legion addons..
"Sketch Book adds 2.4 seconds" - "Joey Mix Tape reduces fatigue by 0.675" etc..
Why is this not how it is in game? One of my main issues with this game is how obscure stuff like this is without you having to dig around elsewhere to find exact stats, or do testing in KYF and stuff.. Like sure you can claim its being considerably better, But tbh I think id rather judge that my self with some cold hard stats..
iirc there was something in one of the early dev vid things they do every so often (Not watched one in ages, Last one I remember watching was around the 2nd anniversary.. Almost a year ago) where they said it was something to do with not having to update descriptions in game or something..? But cmon now surely that wouldnt be too much work to do.. And im sure plenty of people would enjoy the change.. Idk maybe just me.

This is a good question. A big part of it is to make it easier for most people to understand. While a really hardcore player wants to know the exact numbers on every single add-on, it's going to be overwhelming for a more casual players who when they start looking through add-ons only to find a wall of numbers. Having to update add-on description is a fairly small factor. Generally when add-ons are balanced or changed, the descriptions need to be updated anyway.
It might be nice to have an option to toggle between detailed and simple descriptions, though this isn't something that's on the table at the moment.
