Is legion about to blackout when they use their power?

Medically, when you are about to blackout, you will start to have darkness or black appear in your eyesight, then if it persists you will blackout

Ooh just today I was wondering why the legion acted like they were in pain or something after a frenzy. Possibly...

@blue4zion For example, in a G-test within a certain limit the subject will need oxygen or they will blackout, legion is panicking for air, could be

Potentially. I have always found that heavy breathing coming out of Frenzy to be really unusual.

The same could be said about Sally, who the devs have confirmed goes through serious pain while Blinking.

@VolantConch1719 Maybe they aren't really that agile

its another one of those "entity interchanges", you will have immense power and/or a favor from the entity at the cost of immense pain

    • trapper has those hooks hooked on his back
    • doctor has those eyelid speculums and can never close his mouth which must be hella painful
    • nurse has a pillow case constantly asfixiating her and makes horrendous cries of pain each time she blinks
    • hag was forced into becoming a cannibal to get revenge despite getting eaten by cannibals
    • spirit is unable to get revenge herself against her father and most roam the entitys realm as an Onryō
    • finally, Frank, Julie, Susie and Joe, seeking escape from the authorities, went to the entity realm, just to be made into brutal killers and have their youth slowly consumed and used for other purposes

Interesting thing is that, in one note in game there is a question, were the killers survivors as well... maybe FJSJ used to be a group of survivors that were slowly consumed by entity to become the killers...

It could be interesting if vigo didn't escaped this realm, instead he become one of the killers.

I believe that Feral Frenzy is a paranormal adrenaline rush given to the Legion. So when the Feral Frenzy is ended to runs out for whatever reason it makes sense that the paranormal rush hurts them as it rushes away. It might also not be paranormal. This is evident by their never-sleep-pills. I doubt the Legion has slept in quite a while. Regardless of the nature of the ability, one thing is for sure, the Frenzy is painful to end. Which is likely a result of an adrenaline boost. One can only imagine the headache they experience for that 4 seconds.

    They're like me :D

    Fast, agile, but low stamina

That seems like a possibility but it could be the work of the entity too I guess.

I think we should also note that, as Teens in the 90's, most of them (Frank, Julie, and Joey, unsure of Susie) might've had smoking issues. We should also note that they have drug issues as they take 'Never-Sleep Pills' often, which could be horribly ruining their body and eyesight. Quentin is an excellent example of what not sleeping for long enough can do to your body and appearance, probably why Frank and Julie look so odd behind their masks. Smoking could be the reason they breathe so heavily and make odd noises for teenagers whenever they're done sprinting around, as their lungs probably aren't use to sprinting for that long with the excessive amount of smoking and drugs they're putting in their bodies.

    Just a theory though!

They're slow in real life terms, 5 m/s is a joke. I'm an all rounded runner. Fast, sort of agile (I can't turn properly due to my speed, but good enough to keep up) and a decent amount of stamina.

Well yeah, at full speed I'm more like Billy, fast af boiii but turning is hard.

Usually I try to not run too fast because if you go too fast you have trouble vaulting over stuff, parkour for life

Probably this lore wise, but then getting an initial successful hit in FF grants more bonuses (killer instinct) like increased duration/stamina and "aura" (more general location) reading accompanied with the pain on exiting this "adrenaline" state, similar to nurses stun I guess in that way. Overexertion is an interesting take though, it really does look similar to a blackout but then it gets slightly blurred/worse in killer instinct maybe due to increased power/exertion?

I always felt like Feral Frenzy was the Legion snapping after an adrenaline rush and then getting back to "reality" with a nasty headache.
