Tunneling w/ Party Streamers
Is there something about seeing the Blood Party Streamer offering that encourages some killers to tunnel? I feel like it happens a lot that a killer would rather delete someone from the game and rob them of 40-50k points than have everyone walk away with more.

I don't think they're doing it on purpose just cause someone brought a bps. If they do, they're just pathetic.
I always try to farm if someone brings bps, if they don't want to then who cares, just play normally.

You can blame it on player bias or the fact that the emblem score is more important than the BPS or you could blame it on the need to kill someone as fast as possible to slow down the game.

They're just doing their job, with benefits now. Bonus bloodpoints IS bonus bloodpoints, and those who have a difficult time with the current grind are willing to do anything to get more points. Nothing too wrong with it though, you can't essentially blame them for doing their job.

Maybe they just want their 2 hooks on you.. sometimes when I see streamers I want to milk you for points.

Maybe they’re just trying to make sure they get their share of the party.
It’s just as if not more likely that survivors will purposely deny the killer blood points while they’re laughing their way to the blood bank.

I thought about the other side of the coin where survivors gen rush a killer and do the same thing, but in my most recent case I was on the survivor side. Both are very frustrating.

It just seems mutually beneficial for both sides to make use of the offering. I guess my bigger gripe is with tunneling in general, but that’s a whole other issue.

Cause it usually ends in getting the Survivors killed, which is the objective of Killers? That's like asking why looping.

I've never seen a single trial in the history of DbD where the survivors took the initiative to farm with the killer. In those that the killer indicated they wanted to farm, half the time survivors just gen rushed and left the killer with few - if any - points. This is because survivors control the pace of the trial, even if some people want to pretend otherwise.
Nobody is entitled to anything just because they put up a BPS.

I mean just the other day I came across a Huntress with Iridescent head hatchets that tunnels you off of hook. I played BPS and so did someone else and the Huntress even used a SP. Goes into trial expecting a normal game yet to get one shot and tunneled off of hook, like fuukin hell mate you're being a real A-hole.

The way I see it, the faster a survivor is dead means more time to earn those extra blood points. It's one less survivor rushing the gens, I guess. I personally try to hook everyone twice, and try to avoid killing them until late game.
