You're right, he was bashed, burnt, beat and destroyed, then skinned, beat again, and then thrown into a flaming pile of garbage that blew up after being run over by a steamroller.

In all seriousness tho, the changes don't seem TOO bad, imo tho

Ok, please, someone explain to me what the issue is with the Legion. All I've seen since his release are people complaining about him, and some even going as far as to say he's the worst killer in the game, and yet, literally every single video I've seen of Legion gameplay, even from months ago when he was first released, he seems to dominate, getting hits on survivors like crazy. Now I have personally never played as the Legion, though I must admit, I am seriously considering picking up his dlc chapter to try him out for myself at some point, but I just don't see the issue. Someone please enlighten me.

@TheShape78 Current Legion has lots of design flaws that made him unbearable to play against (Moon-walking, Infinite mending, etc).

PTB Legion removes these design flaws and make him tolerable to versus.

He's considered garbage because his stall mechanic (Deep Wound) is barely a hindrance to experienced survivors, meaning staying injured is the better option against him.

The 28 stab wounds game style was actually quite fun, besides, you can no longer lunge to gain distance during Feral Frenzy and people will no longer disconnect when playing against him

I’m mostly happy with the legion change from what I’ve seen and I’ll main him once he hits live. :)

Legion, Unlike Freddy was at the brunt of criticism for the right reasons. His power had no counterplay to it, and could be m2 + w+m1 = downed survivor essentially by hitting them with DW until the timers gone. The original Franks mixtape made the DW timer a 2 hit kill without a chance to dodge, and since stealth isnt as strong, nor are builds for stealth ran as much. Yoiu can see the problem.

Outside the Legions that spammed frenzy/DW with Franks. Or did the Moonwalk exploit. The Legit players are also getting short end of stick from some of these changes.

Legions speed in Frenzy was nerfed heavily, Legions speed in Frenzy and stabbing people was the whole apeal to the character and made them from a 'Edgy-Teen' to 'Sonic on cocain with a Knife'. Now the Frenzy does help with chase, to some extent, but vaulting is slower, and so is the movement speed in frenzy making them loose that sense of speed and making Legion far more of a generic w+m1 killer.

Though thats my own POV about it, you'd have to ask more players about whats wrong with legion. Not bad, still suffers the loops n such; but not terrible/unfair to play as/against either, just more generic at the current moment unless tweaks are made.

Someone is playing solo besides me? That's new, I've never met any good solo survivor. Only SWF,SWF,SWF as the killer yikes. And as the survivor I always have a potato players.

I too play solo when I play survivor. Killers complain about SWF because the game is exponentially harder when dealing with that level of coordination. The game wasn't designed with it in mind. The game launched without it and didn't have it for quite a while. When they added the game never really felt like it got a second pass to account for the extra things that SWF brought to the table. Killers don't have a problem with solo survivors because the game functions correctly when you get a game of all solo survivors.

As for individual skill that varies wildly from player to player and some players are actually quite skilled, but not in a way that others approve of. If you want to be consider universally 'good' people want you to be able to hold the killer in chase for long periods of time. Yet, in reality their are a lot of players who learned the stealth aspect of the game much better than the chase. You have lots of players like me who are good at gens and coop actions. Its the only thing I enjoy doing as it took forever to learn how to run the killer somewhat decently. I don't enjoy spending minutes in a chase and would rather pound objectives. Though now you need to be good at everything as that is the only way you're gonna pip.
