Chapter: One’s Misfortune
Killer name: The Broken.
Benedict’s journal entry: “He’s younger than the others, but broken inside, I can see it in his eyes, stalking us from the woods around the campfire. The two following him seem harmless...better not let my guard down” ~ Benedict Baker
Killer Power: Trusted Followers.
The Broken has two creatures following him: Callahan and Asher. The Broken can choose between the two and send them to do their job, only one at a time.
- Callahan: The first, Callahan, is a Great Pyrenees dog, very friendly and protective of his owner. When “sent” Callahan will start patrolling a 36/48 meters area. If “sent” within 8 meters to a generator, he will travel to the closest generator and back. If Callahan gets within 20 meters from a survivor he will start barking in their direction, this will reveal Callahan’s location to the killer. When the broken gets within 18 meters from him, Callahan will stop barking and go back to his owner.
- Asher: The second is Asher, a small orange and grey cat, at first she may seem aggressive by they way she meows but she is actually extremely friendly and as soon as she sees someone she will get close to be pet. When “Sent” Asher will run around the map, when a survivor gets in visual range of her, she will sprint towards them, if the line of sight is broken for 5 seconds she will start going around the map again. When she gets within hearing range of a generator being repaired she will walk towards it. When she gets within 7 meters from a survivor she will start following them. Survivors will hear her purring when she is within 12 meters from them. This purring will cover the Broken’s terror radius if he gets within the purring radius. Asher is faster than a survivor walking speed but slightly slower than a survivor running speed.
Both can be called back with a whistle, using the same button used to send them. To choose between which one you will send you must press the primary ability button and to send them the secondary ability button. If either of them are within 25 meters from a survivor when he/she gets injured they will become afraid and run back to the Broken.
Weapon: A heavy splitting axe, slightly rusted with a plastic handle.
Backstory: Lorenzo used to be a happy kid, with a happy family and a lovely girlfriend. Everything started going to ######### when he decided to go for a year in the United States of America as a exchange student. He ended up in a small house in the Kansan State, studied in a small school and found a small group of friends. To make the time go by he played video games and chopped wood when he had the time. He missed his real family, he missed his long time friends, and his girlfriend very much, he missed them so much he started going crazy. He decided to go forward, he did his best to not succumb to the desires he used to feel before he met the love of his life.
Then disaster came.
His parents were taking his girlfriend to dinner, they cared about her and wanted to cheer her up, in a few months he would be back. They ended up hitting a deer, causing them to fall off the side of the mountain. All three of them died.
Upon hearing this Lorenzo fell into a deep depression, locking himself for days inside his room for days, only going to the kitchen to get some water. After five days he decided to come out and eat again.
After weeks of silence from the family he was staying at the neighbours decided to check on them. They found nothing at first, except for the trees, most of which were missing, seemingly chopped down by someone. When the police came they found a spot next to a nearby pond. There were crosses, graves. They found the bodies of 9 people, three dogs, three cats and two birds, decomposed and eaten by ants, most of the farm animals were dead from denutrition. The bodies were confirmed to be the ones of the family he was staying with: the mother, the father, the two brothers and the sister, the other exchange student and the grandparents. The weird part is that the family had four dogs and four cats, and a huge pile of wood stood tall next to the graves.
Appearance: The Broken wears a pair of boots and sweatpants, he has a brown-ish green hooded coat to keep him warm during the freezing Kansan winter. He has a black bandana to cover his nose and mouth to not be recognized. On his left arm he has a leather bracelet and on his ring finger he has a small, simple, silver ring. His eyes are bright green.
Some trivia: All he wants is to be left alone, so when he feels someone’s presence he will start running, all the time he spent chopping wood and bringing it to the pond gave him incredible stamina so he can chase and catch the intruders without tiring himself out. The Entity decided to give him the ability to communicate with the two animals following him, slowly over time so he would think it was all himself. The Broken doesn’t realize he is in a different world, thinking that he is just walking around America aimlessly, every now and then he stops to rest for what he thinks are a few hours, moving only at night and sleeping during the day (It’s always night in the Entity’s realm, so he thinks he always wakes up after the sun has set). Whenever he sees the survivors he will first stalk them for a bit to decide how to deal with them and then proceed to kill them one by one. During the first few trials he was confused by the generators and hooks, but came to the conclusion that he was hallucinating, he damages the generators because it seems to lower the noise they make, he has never liked loud noises, and he puts the survivors on the hooks because for some reason he doesn’t feel like chopping them to pieces.
Wiping animation: The Broken recomposed himself while looking at the axe, it’s head is really heavy making it unbalanced but an awesome chopper.
Pallet breaking animation: The Broken is used to chopping tougher stuff than pallets. He will put a foot on the pallet, raise his axe and destroy the pallet with one swing.
Height: 1.86 m
Base speed: 115%
Perks:
- Anger Problems: You are easily angered. Whenever you are stunned (By a pallet, DS or Head On) you gain a token up to 1/1/2, for every token your action speed is increased by 5/7/10% (Breaking, damaging, vaulting), you lose a token whenever a survivor is downed/hooked/killed. “Touch me again, I dare you” ~ Lorenzo
- Silence!: You don’t like loud noises. Whenever a loud noise event occurs when you are outside of a chase you will gain a 5% movement speed boost for 20/25/30 seconds. “That parrot is so ######### annoying, I’m gonna break its neck one day” ~ Lorenzo
- Regret: You had someone in your life and sometimes you still see her. You become obsessed with one survivor. When you hook a survivor you will gain a 3/4/5% movement speed buff for 20/30/40 seconds. When you hook your obsession you will suffer a 4/3/3% movement speed debuff for 20 seconds. “I’m sorry...I miss you” ~ Lorenzo
Mori: The survivor will try to get away from the Broken, crawling on his/her back. The Broken will point at the survivor. Callahan will attack the survivor biting their arm. The survivor will scream. The Broken will proceed to smash the survivor’s head with the blunt side of the axe. While all of this happens, Asher is playing with a fly.

I feel like the killer would be weak and the perks would be decent.
I’d pet the kitty. :3

I do feel like he would be weak but I love both the cat and the dog :3
They are very cute IRL

is this a cry for help?

For The Summons
Missed opportunity. XD When Asher finds someone working on a gen, she should sit on the gen (creating a debuff) and get in the way. She could also meow loudly while following the survivors if not given attention (pet) and may have a chance of injuring the survivor while they pet (can't down an injured).
Also to send them out, you could press the ability button, they form and whoever you smack goes away, summoning the one you didn't smack (or smack to choose).
Perks
Anger Problems should lose a token whenever someone's downed.
Cool idea. c:

I miss home

i will steal the cat

I will wholeheartedly play this killer with no regrets as long as the Asher and Callahan get cosmetics too.
Only thing I have to say.

A pettable cat as the Killer's power? I'm sold.
Furry friends aside, I don't think the Killer would be that powerful.
Callahan seems like a more gimmicky and less powerful version of the screams caused by Doctor's madness and I can't see anything under Asher's effects that would let The Broken know she is being pet, meaning The Broken has no real way to take advantage of her purring unless he just follows her everywhere. And if their is a way to tell when someone is near here Survivors will probably just avoid her or trigger her at loops so that The Broken can't get a drop on them.
I like Silence & Regret but they aren't very strong. I mean, past Rank 6 I don't think you could ever get a use out of Silence.
As for Anger Problems, it could be amazing paired with either Enduring and Spirit Fury as part of an aggressive anti-pallet build, but that's three perks devoted solely to shortening chases, meaning the Killer has to rely on their power for either slow down or tracking (Hex: Ruin v. BBQ/Nurse's). I could only really see Anger Problems working on Legion, Doctor, or Freddy, since their powers, theoretically at least, provide both slow down and tracking.
These are all cool and interesting concepts, but I'm not sure how well they would work in the meta without some changes.

I just wanted to have a killer with some cute pets :3
I saw another idea where the dog would grab the survivor and drag him towards you, it was powerful, but a bad idea as it would take no skill at all

No :(
She's mine :(
She too cute :(
I'll post a picture of her in The Entity's Hangout when I get back :3
