Nurse blink addon idea
If the devs aren't going to be removing additional blink addons (which they should) then perhaps whenever the nurse uses additional blinks, her vision gets worse with each additional blink (Like the effect Legion currently has on the PTB after FF). This wouldn't effect the base 2 blinks but after the 3rd her vision gets noticeably worse.

Nurse needs a complete addon rework anyway.
She doesn't have pink addons and most addons mess up your muscle memory.
Additional blink addons and omega blinks are very strong. Using one range addon is okay or the yellow and brown one but omega blink is just unfair.

The nurse already has this. People never seem to take notice of it because it isn't a perk and they are too busy being bothered by the fact that she has multiple blinks at even though there was a time when she had 6 blinks because her base amount used to be 3.
Anyway, the Nurse's vision was passively altered to be locked downwards and heavily darkened during fatigue. Her fatigue recovery is also dependent on how many times she has blinked. It increases by something like .5secs per extra blink past the initial two blinks.
People against Omega Blink also seem to forget that the nurse has the worst walk and vault speed in the game. She does need pink addons though. She's the hardest killer to use because of the fact that she can't fall back on normal m1 strats. If she doesn't use her power then she's the absolute worst killer in the game beside Freddy whose gotta use his power to just play the game at all.

She already has a worse version of this, its just not documented very well / at all.
Every blink she does increases the length of her fatigue and the penalty is increased on attack. If a nurse blinks 5 times and hits someone she gets fatigued longer than a DS stun.
You should play Nurse to understand her better. Theres a lot of people that complain about her without realizing what it actually takes to play her.

@ReikoMori Currently her vision doesn't darken while in fatigue, although this is a bug it gives the nurse a huge advantage combined with shadowborn since she can track the survivors even while in fatigue. Also since The Nurse only gets a darkened vision while in fatigue it isn't a massive drawback since she has already had a chance to hit the survivor (and in most cases where there are more than 2 blinks she has).
@PeepingPeacock The longer than DS stun doesn't really matter that much since you have already hit the survivor (considering you have 5 blinks you most likely have) and you can still hear the survivor scream and know what direction they ran.
I do play nurse, I just don't use additional blinks often and if I do it's never more than 3. Playing nurse with additional blinks takes most of the skill out of her. That is at least my personal experience with her.

Even with maximum amount of blinks it takes time to get used to playing her. You still need to learn to make reads and how to use survivor routing to your advantage. Also if you aren't using the addons that it great for you, but it seems like lots of players in this game can't make a distinction between their way of playing and someone else's way of playing. If someone wants really long range blinks they should have that option. It someone likes playing with five blinks they should have that option. Game's already dying in the diversity department anyway.

@ReikoMori You don't need to learn to make reads or even survivor routing if you can blink 5 times in a row.
By your logic if anyone wanted to play in any way they should have that option without considering the enjoyment of other. So why can't I just get an infinite medkit if I like playing that way? It's not like the killer is also a human being or anything. Why can't I just get an infinite use ds?

We already play the game without considering the enjoyment of others. THe game is being designed and balance with little consideration to others. I wouldn't be shocked in anyway if they make an event medkit for survivors that does exactly that. I pretty much only played killer and I'd prefer not to see even more options for play diversity taken off of a killer's plate. So I have no clue why you came at me with the survivor rhetoric. The game already lacks diversity of play and asking for a killer to get steadily funneled into only or two styles of play isn't helping balance anything.
People don't have fun with most things killers do. Nurse blinks too much, Trapper has too many traps, Wraith isn't noisy enough when cloaked, Spirit phases too much, Legion just exists, Doctor has too much tracking, Billy shouldn't insta down and be fast, Plague doesn't respect walls, etc etc. I respect your opinion, but I've been around this game long enough to know that some changes are just bad if the goal is for people to have fun. I'd love to see people take this sort of desire and start asking for the game to just be made better. It's got more pressing issues than someone having 5 blinks.

@ReikoMori Even if the goal is to keep the game fun there still needs to be some sort of balance. I don't see any justification for why the nurse should have access to more than 2 blinks, 3 at most. There are many other things that just shouldn't exist due to the immense difference they can bring into the game. Moris, keys, insta-heals, -hatchets, -chainsaws, insta kill addons on myers, I am probably missing something but thats just off the top of my head. All of these addons/items/offerings can be the sole reason a team wins the game. These things might not have been so powerful when the game first came out when no one knew what the hell they were doing but now that dbd is actually gaining some traction, these things should be looked at and changed if dbd wants to keep growing. There is no incentive for new players to start grinding when they can get stomped by a 5 blink nurse with an ebony mori. Speaking of grinding... Thats also a huge problem. Players have to grind for several hundred hours to get necessary perks to have a chance at winning. Getting rid of the 3 tier perk system would be a huge improvement. The devs themselves have said that the only reason the 3 tier perk system is in place is because they didn't have many perks to fill the bloodweb with originally when they launched back in 2016.
I might have gone a bit off topic but my point is that the devs shouldn't just turn a blind eye to these problems that have been there for several months, perhaps years and carry on making new killers, new survivors. It would be fine for me if the devs were to instead of make a new chapter, instead focus on old issues and get them sorted.

Chainsaws... you know that one of the worst killers in the game have a chainsaw too? Everything is "CHAINSAWS ARE OP, NERF BILLY" not "Billy is OP". Why everyone is forgetting about poor leatherface.
Also, the thing that you offer is that, all the killers will be m1 killers... which is very bad due to the fact it will remove all diversity from this game.

Nurse is fine as she is. I used to be strongly on the "nerf Nurse" opinion, but lately I've been trying to play her... man, the frustration is almost intolerable. Kudos to anyone who can master her. They definitely deserve their 4K-s.

I always say: I can't tell if i hate more facing the nurse or playing as her.
Even if you master her, her verticality is so broken, there are places that you can't blink through for an unknown reason...
They have to fix her, before nerfing her... which also means fixing the range addons, they are told to reduce the accuracy.
