Struggle button doesn’t appear - instantly dead on hook
I get this bug where I’m not allowed to struggle. I play on PS4.
As soon as I’m on my 2nd hook, “STRUGGLE (X)” doesn’t appear on my screen.
I mash ‘x’ anyways and I still end up instantly dying.
It’s only happened to me 3 times, it’s not common, but a little rare to me.
It seems as if I’m the only one who’s encountered this bug since no one else is talking about it. Has anyone else experienced this?

I personally have never encountered or heard of this bug until now. Perhaps it is a consequence of the "fix" to the wiggle appearing at the start of a trial bug?

Did you self-unhook just before you reach the struggle phase? If so, you've technically entered the second hook phase (struggle) as you've self-unhooked, since the timer is beyond 50%. This would naturally result in you entering the third hook phase (sacrifice) upon being hooked again.

Never had that happened to me, as Orion mentioned, if you get into the struggle state on first hook, your second hook is death.

@Orion No, I’ve never attempted.
The killer put me on the hook, it showed the struggle cut scene but the word “STRUGGLE” didn’t appear.
I was pressing ‘x’ to struggle anyways but it didn’t work and the game registered that I wasn’t struggling and instantly died.

@PinkEricka Any significant lag during the trial? Any bugs you noticed? Are you sure you weren't the last survivor?

@Orion No I wasn’t the last survivor. I was playing with randoms and one of my friends. all of them were alive. but yes, there has been lag lately but I’ve never experienced this type of lag where the struggle button didn’t show up on my screen.
