[SUGGESTION] Possible totem spawn fix

As we know, totem spawns are an issue. If you exclude too many areas of the maps from having totems, then they become easier to find. If you don't exclude enough areas, they also become easier to find. My idea is like a middle ground between these two scenarios.

The idea is to create map elements designed to contain totems and scatter them around the map. These elements are basically dead-ends that block the view of what's inside from all angles, meaning that a survivor has to physically go in to check the area, not unlike the basement. Totems would only spawn in these structures, and nowhere else.

However, there are a few catches. Being dead-ends, they have only one way in and out, making them potentially dangerous to check, particularly if the killer has TOTH. Furthermore, there are always more of these structures than there are totems on the map, meaning that you may just waste your time and put yourself at risk going into one of them, especially if the killer isn't running any Hex perks.

    Just make the shorter, don't make them light up like lighthouse and match the color of the area they are in.

    What about masking hex totems. Make them look like all others. That would be easier to implement.

    Your idea is interesting but devs wouldn't commit to it I think.

    They have one of these as a spawn already, I've only seen it once but on a macmillan map there's a corner of the water tank that has three wooden crates forming an L shape so the totem is completely blocked from LOS and you have to go in between the crates to actually see it. It's good.

    I also wish they'd adjust how totems look, maybe add some blood to the skulls to help them hide better and reduce the lighting of the Hex since they're so easy to spot.

    Man you know the devs don't want it to be HARD on survivors. This will never happen lol.

    Hex totems are so random now, they will either be in a spot, where no one will find them or within a line sight from a gen...

    I love the idea, either place more structures and blockades on the map to prevent open areas, as a Killer main I like the idea, totem spawns appear in very obvious places, it's easy to remember which map spawns totems near gens and killer shacks or hides them by barrels. Or even in plain sight, we need more complication but it has to be "SURVIVOR FAIR".
