New Killer: The Disgraced
New Killer: The Disgraced
Backstory: Walter Bryce was a knight serving under King Cartwright (glory be unto him). Walter was a man of the highest esteem who would give his life to save king and country at any moment. He led a great many battles, all of them victories. The king respected him, and all the kingdom looked up to him.
Walter was talking with his fellow knights when unprovoked, a knight slandered the name of his family. Unable to take such a slight on his family’s honor, Walter challenged the knight to a duel. With such strong emotions taking hold of Walter’s head, he was not able to fight at his best, and lost the duel. Despite the results of the fight, Walter was still unable to tolerate the slight on his family. That night, Walter followed the knight home, and killed him as he slept. Realizing his actions, and realizing he had disgraced the code he stood by, he fled from the kingdom. He could not bring himself to ever see the king’s face, having disappointed him so gravely, and having broken his code of chivalry.
The following day, word of Walter’s actions spread like wildfire and the entire town was in disbelief. Demanding justice for the knight Walter had murdered, the king sent out a search party to find Walter. After weeks of searching, no progress had been made, and the search was called off. The name Bryce became synonymous with disgrace, and his legacy became one of infamy.
Movement Speed: 110%
Terror Radius: 32 Meters
Weapon: Longsword
Ability: Glory of Combat
You have followed the way of the sword for most of your life, the anticipation of a good fight strengthens you. When in a chase, your glory meter slowly fills up. Upon successfully hitting a survivor, you gain a large amount of glory. When your glory meter is full you can use a war cry. The effects of the war cry depend on your stance, which can be switched by right clicking. Upon activating your war cry, you can not attack for two seconds.
Rally Stance: You perform a rallying cry that strengthens your own resolve. After performing a rallying cry you:
- Gain a 5% boost to action speed
- Gain a 3% boost to movement speed
- Recover from stuns 25% faster
- Break pallets with a single stomp
- Vault windows 10% faster
This lasts for 45 seconds by default
Intimidating Stance: You perform a guttural cry that intimidates those around you. After performing an intimidating cry, all survivors:
- Suffer a 5% action speed penalty
- Encounter skill checks 5% more often
These effects last for 45 seconds by default
Survivors within your terror radius:
- Scream, revealing their location
- Are exposed for 12 seconds
- Gain a haste effect for 3 seconds
Killer Perks:
No Respite: There are no breaks from battle. When you are within 4/8/12 meters of a fire barrel, survivors within 12/18/24 meters of the same barrel have their auras revealed.
“Come out and face me you coward!”
Ironclad: Heavy armor isn’t exactly the quietest thing. Your armor produces a loud clanking directional noise that can be heard by survivors 40/32/24 meters away. Gain 100% more bloodpoints in the hunting category.
“Noise matters not to one who has no intention of hiding”
Chivalrous: You have no mercy for those who can’t respect a fair duel. When in a chase, for every additional survivor in your terror radius you gain bloodlust 3%/5%/7% faster.
“You have no place in this battle, leave at once”

I like the ability. The killer shouldn't be 110%, he has no loop counters to warrant the reduced speed. How quickly does his meter fill? That is the only question I can ask.
No Respite I think might be a bit strong. Should only last a few seconds because it can make mind gaming loops and hiding impossible. Don't know how many barrels are on certain maps.
Ironclad is a point perk, fair enough. What noise would the killers make though? Like Myers or Spirit.
Chivalrous needs to have it's numbers bumped up. Maybe 10/15/20% because 7% of 15 seconds would only save you some where around 1.05 seconds.
Really like the ability and unique perks. Just change a few numbers and it'll be good.

For the glory meter, I'd say it would take about 20-30 or so seconds of just chasing to fill it up, I'm not totally sure exactly how long it would take. I'd also say that landing a hit would reward you with 33% of your glory meter.
For no respite you make a good point, but I personally feel it's in a good spot, since there aren't that many flaming barrels in each map.
For Ironclad, I'd compare the noise more to the cannibal than myers or the spirit.
And as for chivalrous, it actually grants that percent for each additional survivor, excluding the one you're chasing. So if you were in a chase and there are 3 other survivors that would stack to 28% or 4.2 seconds. Even at that, the values might stand for some adjustment, I just don't want it to get so powerful that you gain bloodlust too soon.
Thanks for the feedback, I hope this cleared up some of the questions you had.

Fair enough that sounds good. I'd still give the killer 115% movement speed personally.
I meant if I ran this perk on spirit or Myers what sound would they make. I don't think they'd make a heavy armour sound lol
Yea I'd up the numbers because you won't have people that close all the time. You can up the numbers or start with an increase to bloodlust speed already. Maybe start with 15% bloodlust increase then up it by your numbers when survivors are close.
No problem lad. Love reading these, and as long as I understand the ability I'll try and give feedback.

I see what you mean now, I guess I misunderstood your question. I guess for other killers it would make a noise appropriate to the killer. So like, Spirit would produce loud sounds of glass shattering, Myers would breathe so loud you'd be concerned about his health, doctor could make loud electric crackling noises, stuff like that.
