This doesnt make any sense... In what universe does DC compare to lobby dodge? I lobby dodge if the killer/survivors have trash ping, how does that compare to a DC? Most DCs happen because the guy DCing is losing...

most lobby dodges happen because the killer is afraid to play against any swf.

At low ranks I guess. A lot of SWF abuse the ranking system to get easier games

I don't lobby dodge (unless there are three people and the last guy is not joining (as in, we can wait hours and it'll be us three forever)) and I hate dcs. Your argument is invalid.

yes dc after dedicated servers come out it will be pretty fun

@tt_ivi_99 There are legit reasons to lobby dodge. Most of the time it happens because the killer suspects swf or doesn't like the items brought. Same as DC's. There are occasional legit reasons to DC. But usually it's because people are rage quiting babies.

that makes no sense considering when you dc you lose 2 pips and everything you brought

What happens with a DC: Ruins gameplay for fellow Survivors and makes games easier for Killers, denies both sides points, in some cases causes items, add one, and offerings to be wasted
Lobby Dodge: Now I gotta spend five minutes reconnecting with my friends before trying again
Yeah, totally comparable

Wait why am I not allowed to complain about DC comics again?
5 -
Oh yes because preemptively saving yourself the waste of time that is facing a swf with full load outs and op add ons who will hold the game hostage is JUST LIKE being a little salt mine rage goblin dcing because they can’t stand getting hooked or facing killer add ons.
If you dc you’re a little spineless nanny goat.
Lobby dodging is what you get for knowingly bringing items killers dislike.

I don't lobby dodge
I leave the lobby, because 2 or more survivors have over 200 ping and are staying for some reason. So I do the nice thing, and instead of giving them a crappy game, I leave so that never happens, because it ain't fair chief, nor is it fun.
If they could leave instead, that would be great, but that never happens. In fact, the few times I let it launch either because I didn't care or I wasn't paying attention, they had the nerve to complain about the bad ping, which was their own fault.

I won't even mention anything cause the community said it for me, I leave lobbies with 3 survivors and bad ping. You want to stay in lobby? Get good internet.
1 -
No need to be rude.
You’re not in a game when you’re in a lobby. Everyone can leave if they choose to. However, when you go into a match after committing to it and you dc like a salty coward, you’re ruining the game for everyone and you look like a little weasel.
Therefore dodging and dcing are not comparable because dcing is far worse.

That's not lobby dodging, lobby dodging is done by killers

@No_Cluie_Louis You do know that connections work both ways, right?
3 -
@No_Cluie_Louis Lobby dodging was done by survivors before SWF.
Since SWF is a thing bad ping can also cause survivors to dodge.
That or they decided to just reque.

You do realize that you DC on those killers that didn't dodge, do you?
5 -
@pemberley How is it any less spineless to dodge because you think, key word think they are swf or are bringing OP items? Both are cowardly moves in my opinion.
1 -
I always dodge if ping goes above 120 i cant be botherd deal with bad hits on me since it ruins the game alot for me.
1 -
Because if you do I will hunt you down and make you read every single DC comic book there is on earth just to make you retract yourself >:v
1 -
Kinda ironic since i often have Survivors dodge my lobbies, even though the ping is fine.
4 -
Because literally no one is obligated to stay in a lobby, a glorified waiting room, for whatever reason. The game hasn’t started yet so it’s completely fair. Killers, keep in mind, also dodge based on past experiences and intuition and if it feels fishy, looks fishy, and smells fishy - your intuition is probably right. Killers are totally within their rights to dodge a dodgy lobby before the game starts.
Dcers on the other hand are purposely leaving a game because 9.9/10 times they’re toxic little hobgoblins. They’re screwing everyone over in the game for their own ego trip, especially solos and killers.

I'm pretty sure the equivalent of Survivor DCing is...
Killer DCing.

You are saying people dodge when there are prestige 3 players on the lobby? Maybe in 2016 or rank 20.
Bs post.
