Why does Laurie look nothing like Jamie Lee Curtis?
I've always been curious about this and now since Ash released it made me more curious. Ash looks very similar to Bruce Campbell. So why does Laurie look nothing like Jamie Lee Curtis? Is it because it was early on in the game development or was it just licensing issues? @Peanits @patrik75553

Well, Bruce Campbell in DBD looks like a Wax figurine.

Probably bhvr has only the licence for the name but not for the actor

Same with Tapp and Quentin.
I mean... Tapp looked like 40+ years old in the movie and he looks 20+ here... Quentin was a little overweight + he looks like he's been on cocaine since he was brought to the realms of the Entity...

Because you have to pay for an actor likeness,(his face) and that usually isn't cheap specially with expensive actors like Jamie Lee Curtis.
What I don't get is why is quentin and tap soo expensive to get their likeness, since they aren't praised as laurie, maybe its just BHVR saving money
But basically if the actor looks too equal in the game, they can sue BHVR, because bhvr is making money of their looks

they didnt pay for her likeness, but someone did do an amazing edit though.

The license is for the character NOT for the likeness, Ash is different as they got the liscence for both, for the character and the likeness....they didn't buy the likeness....just the character, hope that helps *s

They didn't go ahead for their likeness you have to go to two people to get the character and then the likeness lisence...it would be expensive getting both for each character i suppose,,,so DBD just wanted the characters lisence for most, not the likeness

Laurie looks a bit like a duck. It's cute but in a funny way. I'd rather have Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie though.

I like the Laurie we got, if you use the secondary hairstyle with the original outfit.
