Survivors Spawn Together... too often

I find it way to be a way too common occurrence for survivors to spawn all together near a generator without a single offering affecting it. Is there any particular reason why the entity is feeling so generous as to set back the killer and give the survivors more hope?

As Freddy + Discordance, Survivors spawning together is exactly what you want.

But who plays Freddy right? lol

If it is harmful for both parties then it shouldn't be a common occurrence. I mean to spawn near one person can be comforting, and maybe 2 at least that can be split progress that would allow mutliple gens to be worked on or discovered by the killer. But spawning everyone together just makes it too tempting to gen rush... >_>

Its a shadow nerf to survivors that happened awhile ago, or it might be a bug. I dunno.

Makes the shroud of binding offering useless, even though it was bad to use in the first place.

Whatever they did to stop survivors from spawning too close to the killer, also made us all spawn together.

It's actually beneficial to the killer if everyone spawns together. You get 2~3 people on a gen and if you pressure them, you're pressuring 2~3 people. Gen rushing typically happens when people are each on separate generators. That's when you get 2~3 gens going off while in a chase.

Spawning survivors separately would result in gens going much faster than if they spawn together.

    This

Do you play killer often? I have Discordance on a lot of my killers for this reason. Also, just because survivors spawn together often doesnt mean it's always a bad thing because as @PeepingPeacock said, it's probably a shadow nerf.

Don't forget that where survivors spawn in every map are few and easy to remember, if I'm playing killer in lerys for example, I know that the wisest thing to do would be to check the exit gates at the very start because I will likely find a group of survivors that spawned together there before they can get on a gen to set off my discordance.

As a killer you should love the fact that A) they spawn together a lot and B) their spawn locations are predictable and as a bonus; c) discordance is a great perk for killers especially at the start of a game

It's dumb to see every teammate spawn with me a rush through one gen.

Vary rarely do i spawn solo. The most common times it does is on the extremely large maps.

this is an advantage for the killer. if every survivor was spawned in each corner of the map good luck to catch them before they complete at least 3 gens.

It's actually better than if they were to split up and all 4 work on a different gen.

You start a chase with one, 3 gens done.

Its a blessing for killers. Especially high mobility killers (Nurse, Billy, Spirit) that know the spawning locations of survivors, can get into a chase within 10 seconds.

I knew I wasn't crazy, this is happening way too often and it's confusing?

Yeah, I will say majority of games I usually spawn with one or two others, sometimes all 4 survivors in same place (and no one used that offering). If the killer is a whispers user they find all of us pretty quick. I cannot get away from other survivors fast enough, I like spawning alone.

Noticed on some maps it is a pattern, three survivors spawn together while the 4th spawns alone - like Lery's.
