Feral frenzy/vault speed - Legion
His speed in feral frenzy; I understand it not being super speed, but he can be looped very easily with it and unable to gain distance enough to get a hit without the iridescent button...either his speed needs to be increased in feral frenzy or he needs his vault speed reverted, imo. It's just too easy to loop him around pallets and windows, infinitely.

Another idea would simply be to have add-ons that increase vaulting speed slightly, moderately, significantly. Just something to make a counter to a loop via his non-lethal power.

^bump
Another addition:
Replace the useless button add-on effects with things such as the aforementioned effects.
As it stands, using the effects of the buttons just gives the survivor a speed boost while stunning the Legion player for way too long.

^Bump, yet again;
I really feel like a 4 second stun is incredibly unfair, especially when you put into consideration that a pallet stun is only 3 seconds: why not the same as a pallet stun; at this point it gives waaayyy too much distance.
5 -
We should get the old speed back, especially since FF isn't lethal and that we need to eat a 4 sec stun after waiting ages for the power to recharge.
8 -
@plu I agree completely. You waste so much time just catching up, to then get a 4 second cooldown, and its still more than 3 with cold dirt??
That wouldn't be so insane is cold dirt wasn't incredibly rare. by level 50 I'd found about 4 of them on my legion.

And here are people complaining about 4 seconds stun on legion, while i'm playing as heavy smoker nurse...
2 -
Nurse doesn't need to wait around 20 seconds to blink again.
6 -
@LastShoe also. Nurse has her fatigue after she downs you. Legion has his fatigue before.

I really feel like they over-nerfed Legion. He definitely needed changes, but they made a lot of changes at once instead of making a couple small changes at a time and seeing how it went from there. Nerfing his FF speed, nerfing his vault speed, AND increasing the fatigue time? Why? They removed his ability to spam the attack and down in FF as well as made it so that his meter has to be completely filled before he can use FF. His meter depletes every time he M1s a survivor, plus it completely empties when he's stunned.
Does that not seem excessive?
I dunno, they did bump him up to be a 115 speed killer, which is nice. But nerfing his FF speed and vault speed plus increasing the fatigue time (I mean, they didn't do just one or two of those things; they did all three) really seem unnecessary when all those other handicaps on his power are taken into consideration.

No, not as addons, he needs it for his base kit for him to be fun.
3 -
I agree he needs them for his base kit realistically, but the fact is that having them as add-ons, and providing the useless buttons with an actual use, actually have some use, would be some sort of compromise at least.
@LastShoe I mean that's not her base kit and tbh if she didn't have the base stun in her kit, she'd have no real repercussions for missing as she wouldn't have an issue catching up if she doesn't attack, lol.
1 -
I agree, but it would at least be a compromise to make those currently useless buttons have some use.
@LastShoe I mean that's not her base kit lol. The stun on her base kit is definitely necessary or she could just perpetually blink at you and catch up with no repercussions for a bad blink; she's already cancerous to play against as it is - without that...oof.

You definitely didn't played with heavy smoker nurse build... You have to hit someone with one blink 2 times... if you aren't playing against the potatoes you will meet a real challenge.
@SunderMun I really don't understand what you are trying to tell...

Another idea: a passive that after someone has mended, it slows down their gen work for a few minutes.
(Maybe an add-on in the same vein as the chainsaw killers have?)

The window vault speed isn't too bad, but the pallet vault speed is disgusting. Frankly, there are a lot of things I wish they would change about Legion, but that is for another thread.

I don't understand why they even reduced the vaulting speed to begin with. It was one of the positive things about playing the old Legion, you felt fast and agile. Current one feels sluggish and slow.
I guess it goes hand-in-hand with how Behavior design things. Nothing's supposed to be fun to play as.

Yeah they talked about adjusting the animation, not the speed in the devsteam.
Like that's wonderful and all, but that's not going to change how easy it is to loop him or the gap between him and the survivor AFTER the vault, it's just gonna look prettier.

To anyone having issues with the vault speed, which you should, run bamboozle. It brings the vault speed down to 10% from 25%. I've been running tier 3 bamboozle and it really makes a difference feel wise. Also the added bonus of shutting down window loops gives you more room to work.
I still don't like the complete loss of power on a missed attack. The power should just turn off while maintaining the remaining amount so you have a better recharge feel. The stun being blinding and long feels like overkill.

I use it as a necessity; really run using that plus iridescent button and getting someone into the killer shack and cornering them. It's hilarious.
Actually had a 3-man SWF rage quit when I did that to one of them, within about 15 seconds of a game...
His window vault speed is fine, however pallets should be a faster vault. Or his frenzy should move faster while maintaining the timer. One of the two.
As for losing his power; I wanted him to have punishment for missing, but outright getting a 4 second stun for doing it once? Hell no. Not a good idea. Especially with all the weird bugs that actually change killer's POV and sometimes force you to spam M1 for it to even be recognised by the game...

I don't see why the devs haven't responded to this issue by so many; even survivors are questioning it.

I'll drop a message here because as someone that is trying to get back into the game and wanted to pick up Legion, the changes I saw on it are so big and some so atrocious (and easy to fix) that it seems stupid to just forget about Legion. As a survivor playing vs Legion (where I have a higher rank), I dont feel.any threat and looping him really feels like a joke, since his power ends up being useless once it hits you one time with it.

Yep, in all honesty being a red rank Legion is absolute hell. Before that though it's not bad but it's nothing crazy not like Hillbilly and not even the same playing field as Nurse. I get not every killer has to be super strong but it feels like the game is balanced around Hillbilly and other far better killers and the weak ones just have to sit there and suffer whether or not you like playing as them. And come on really, 3 of his addons don't exist pretty much, nobody uses Fuming mixtape, Frank's is actually worthless, and since the mend timer totally pauses during mending stab wound study is also pointless.

@SunderMun His stun time is actually 5 seconds, not 4.

Devs wanted to create killer that is worse than Freddy. You can't argue, they bravely succeeded this challenge.
Legion is underwhelming, Legion is unplayable. Don't play legion.
